The report, which sourced 19 anonymous people involved with the development of Anthem, characterized BioWare as mismanaged and chaotic. Now, an intra-company memo sent by BioWare general manager Casey Hudson has been made publicly available, offering some perspective on BioWare’s reaction to the investigation’s conclusions. BioWare GM Hudson’s note begins by recognizing the Kotaku article and the online discussion revolving around it, specifically with regards to the “quality of our workplace” at BioWare and the “well-being of our staff....

The newest update to the Sndroid and iOS MMO Black Desert Mobile includes the long-awaited Striker class. It goes without saying that the Call of Duty franchise has mostly become known for its award-winning multiplayer mode. As it happens, ever since Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s first non-cinematic trailer was revealed a few months ago, many fans of the series have been looking forward to the game solely to experience its online deathmatch component. Fan reception to a recent update that changed the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War menu is less than positive. The developer, Treyarch, made it clear that the change to the menu was inevitable, as it hoped to funnel players into a single game launcher. What Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s development team didn’t seem to expect was the negative reaction to the menu layout. Activision reveals more details about this weekend’s Call of Duty XP event, where the company will reveal the multiplayer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and more. A few months ago, Activision confirmed that the Call of Duty XP event would return this year to give fans a closer look at Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer, and now the company has offered more details. Fans can visit Inglewood, California this coming Friday, September 2nd to get their hands on the multiplayer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, in addition to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered and the next DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops III....

The latest season of Call of Duty: Mobile is set to kick off on April 1. Season 4 will run until June 2 and brings with it a host of new features including new weapons, a new map, and two new game modes. Most of the weapons and equipment included in the update will revolve around the “Industrial Revolution” theme, such as the Man-o-War gun and Epic soldier Ruin. The classic map from Black Ops 2 — Meltdown — will also make its debut after being teased earlier this month....

A new patch is causing longer than usual matchmaking times in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. Many players across Modern Warfare and the free-to-play standalone battle royale mode Warzone are reporting that they are facing extended wait times when waiting to get into a match. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward explains how cross-play will work after the announcement left fans scratching their heads. Infinity Ward confirmed that PC and console players would be able to play together, but didn’t say how.
