For Call of Duty: Warzone players, this week is very special. The mid-season update, Season 4 Reloaded, releases June 29th at 11 pm PST and comes packed with all-new game modes, items, and customization options. Some of these are minor changes—like new character skins—while some of them are game-changing additions, such as adding juggernauts and a 200-player mode. Warzone, the battle royale inside a shrinking safe zone, has seen a lot of different game types during its still-early life, from the highly divisive Realism mode and the cash-grabbing Plunder to the most recent addition: Juggernaut Royale....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to have a proper showcase at E3 2019 in a Coliseum event that is taking place on June 11 at 3:00pm PT. Prior to that, though, members of Infinity Ward have appeared on some E3 2019 streams to discuss the game, revealing some previously unknown details about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. For example, we know that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be using environments scanned in from the real world and brought into the game....

Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War will be out Nov. 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also release on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 later this year. You can pre-order the game here. Activision made the announcement in an in-game event within Warzone‘s Verdansk map that was attended and watched by millions of players on Twitch. The game, which is being developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, will feature a single-player campaign, a multiplayer mode, and a co-op Zombies mode....

The Call of Duty League and Call of Duty: Warzone join forces to put on an exciting show during the upcoming Seattle Surge Home Series weekend. The first ever CDL Warzone Weekend broadcast will take place on Sunday, May 24 at 3:00 p.m. EST / 12:00 p.m. PST. This event will be shown before the final four teams battle it out for the weekend championship. The Call of Duty League Warzone Weekend is presented by Metro by T-Mobile and will feature all 12 teams battling it out for $10,000 cash and bragging rights....

Developer Larian Studios has officially re-launched its first full patch for Baldur’s Gate 3, after the first release of the patch ended up reportedly breaking many players’ Baldur’s Gate 3 saved games. This isn’t the first round of fixes that Larian has released for the game, but it is the first larger, “official” patch that the game has gotten. It’s been a little more than a week since Baldur’s Gate 3 launched into early access, and Larian already released a series of smaller hotfixes in the days following, before putting together this patch....

No game is perfect, but Rare’s Banjo-Kazooie certainly comes close. As one of the best 3D platformers of all time, the journey is a blast from start to finish, with new minigames, characters, and abilities around every corner of the game. However, one of the first confirmed messages is proving to be more useful than initially imagined. In fact, it’s clear that knowing your history really is part of the experience of Black Ops Cold War. While digging around in Warzone at the locations given to us by 19 minute-long videos of various news stories throughout the 1960s, players have uncovered Easter egg-like documents that are going to be critical in solving its puzzles and unlocking the secrets that were hiding right under our noses the entire time....

The Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta wrapped up earlier this week after apparently accepting more players than any other Call of Duty beta in history. Activision took to Twitter to announce the momentous occasion yesterday after performing some analysis on the final numbers. “Thanks #BlackOpsColdWar fans everywhere,” wrote Activision, “you’ve made the Multiplayer Beta the most downloaded in Call of Duty history.” Although the specific details were not disclosed, this would mean Black Ops Cold War beat out the previous Call of Duty record holder, which was 2019’s Modern Warfare....

Blade & Soul: Revolution is now available on mobile, but for now limited to select Asian territories, and news about a full global launch are set to follow. But if you’re part of the territories where it’s available (or just hyped for the game to launch where you are now), the game is available for both Android and iOS. Blade & Soul has been out for PC in Korea since 2012, but only launched in Western territories in 2016....
