Bloodborne’s Plain Doll is a FromSoftware archetype with a new coat of paint. Because people just can’t get enough shooting and looting, Borderlands 3 is adding even more content with a second season pass. The first piece of DLC is Designer’s Cut, which is certainly one of the more unique add-ons that the Borderlands series has done. Instead of a story campaign, it includes a brand new game mode and additional skill trees for each Vault Hunter. These features add some new value to Borderlands 3 as a whole, but it’s difficult to say if this is enough content to justify opening up your wallet once again....
The CEO of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford, has stated that cross-platform play will not be available for Borderlands 3 at launch. The game will be seeing a simultaneous release on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this upcoming September, but the feature is being delayed. The news feels unfortunate considering a tweet by Pitchford back in early April, when he stated that multi-platform support is considered a pre-requisite for the release of the game....
Last week, Gearbox Software re-opened the doors to the first adventure on Pandora with Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, a remaster that fans have been hoping to see for a few years now. In addition to updated visuals and 4K support, Borderlands remastered has some quality of life improvements like a minimap, more character customization options, an enhanced final boss battle, and more unique guns to find. Unfortunately, the online connectivity has proven to be less-than-reliable since launch, a fact that Gearbox is currently investigating....
To start, I whole-heartedly fell into the “damn, this game is hard” camp when I started playing Bravely Default 2. While playing on normal mode, I still managed to lose the prologue boss battle against Selene and Dag the first time (due to not taking advantage of “Brave” properly to take out Selene right away), and I also lost several times against Orpheus after that. I’d read that, in comparison to other boss battles in the game, these were a joke....

Sometimes changes made in online games can have unforeseeable consequences. Such is the case with a recent change made in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s recent Season 6 update, which crossed over with Call of Duty: Warzone. The specific change in Modern Warfare/Warzone’s September 28 update nerfed C4 usage severely. The consequences of the nerf have been leading to problems for many Warzone players, in particular, ever since. Luckily, it doesn’t seem like it really needs to be fixed, either....

Today, the Call of Duty Mobile Twitter account posted the first teaser for season 10. Within the brief teaser, none other than Modern Warfare 2’s iconic map Terminal is announced to be coming to the game following the current season of CoD Mobile content. The teaser reads “Attention passengers, Flight #83764625 is now boarding” before showing off a rain-covered image of the map. Whether the map will genuinely feature rain in Call of Duty Mobile, or if this is simply a stylistic way to obscure the image, is unclear....
