A series of reports have revealed that the next Call of Duty game will be an entry in the Black Ops series focusing on the events of the Cold War. That means that the next Black Ops game could revisit some of the ideas of the first two Black Ops games by presenting an alternate take on historical events of that era. Considering that the Cold War was a prolonged political engagement between the United States and the Soviet Union (and the allies of both superpowers) which lasted for nearly 50 years, it’s still not clear at this time which conflicts this ambiguously named Call of Duty project will touch upon....

Call of Duty Mobile has a large playerbase, but the amount of time those players are spending with the game is apparently enormous. A new report says Call of Duty Mobile players have reached one billion hours played monthly at the game’s peak activity. Such a milestone would be impressive if it were to occur across a game’s entire lifespan, so CoD Mobile reaching those numbers in only one month shows just how successful the game has been for Activision....

We are ready to return to Pandora, the setting of James Cameron’s Avatar films, video games, and theme park collaboration with DisneyWorld. A couple of days ago, supposed industry insider Marcus Sellars claimed that this year’s Call of Duty game from Treyarch would be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Now “multiple sources” have confirmed that Sellars is correct, and late 2018 will see the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
