Although the likes of Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Horizon: Forbidden West made huge splashes at Sony’s PlayStation 5 showcase, one of the more peculiar titles that got a lot of attention was Young Horses’ Bugsnax. The new game by the developers of Octodad became something of a meme in the hours following the showcase, with its strange food-based gimmick and crazy visuals instantly drawing a huge number of fans. Of course, a major reason the game sunk into the minds of the thousands watching was its catchy theme tune, with the song encapsulating everything that made the upcoming release so charming....

After weeks of speculation, Bungie addresses the rumors surrounding the next expansion pack for MMO shooter Destiny, which is alleged to be arriving in September of this year. There’s nothing quite like a good gaming mystery, and fans of Bungie’s shooter Destiny received a doozy in recent weeks. A Reddit user by the name of Rezyl Azzir, using a new Grimoire lore card of the same name, cryptically suggested that another Destiny expansion was inbound on September 20....

Last week, developer Bungie detailed how the Eververse cosmetic system would be changing with the launch of Destiny 2’s Forsaken expansion. The devs explained that players would have more ways to earn cosmetics in Destiny 2 and that there would be more items to unlock to customize their Guardian. Today, Bungie showed off one of the new cosmetics launching with Forsaken, an emote with an emotional bent. As part of this week’s Bungie blog post, the developer revealed even more info about how Destiny 2’s systems are changing in Year 2....

Nearly every Tuesday, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare gets a new update of some kind, and this week is no different. Activision has detailed what fans can expect from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare July 7 update, which will bring with it a variety of new playlists for fans of the popular FPS to try. First up is the new Bomb Plant Moshpit playlist, which will let players play matches of Demolition as well as Search and Destroy on a variety of maps....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare may be getting overshadowed by the Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale mode right now, but that doesn’t mean Infinity Ward is ignoring the game entirely. In fact, fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can still expect updates for the game on a regular basis, with the next update expected to drop at some point later today. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare received the popular One in the Chamber mode in the last update alongside several other changes. The announcement was part of the standard Tuesday update, where playlists are usually added or removed from Modern Warfare. Shortly after the release of One in the Chamber, the developers are already applying a patch to adjust its features. Although this is a small patch it will still change a major part of the new game mode, bringing it closer to the original concept....

Fans are no doubt waiting for a sequel to Star Wars: Battlefront as well as the mystery Star Wars game being developed by Visceral Games and Amy Hennig. Looking back at the recent history of Star Wars games, however, there is one that was in development but never saw the light of day - and that one looked to be a very dark game....

Gamers would be forgiven for not knowing about Get Even, a game due out later on this month. It’s being published by Bandai Namco and produced by Polish developer The Farm 51, a studio which got its started by providing outsourced work to other intellectual properties. After Get Even was announced in 2014, things went relatively silent until the game re-appeared in 2016 with a new announcement trailer, showing glimpses of a title that was part psychological thriller and part action....

The official Battlefield Twitter account teases fans with a short Battlefield 1 in-engine trailer that hints at multiplayer game footage coming in just a few days. After its initial reveal last month through an impressive in-engine trailer, the World War I shooter, Battlefield 1, has since gone dark in advance of E3 2016.
