Bungie admits skill-based matchmaking was implemented in Destiny, confirming fans’ rampant speculation after PvP matches have become extra competitive and laggy. For the past month or so the Destiny community has been abuzz with a discussion about matchmaking in Destiny. That’s because in recent weeks, matches in the Crucible have been extra competitive, hard to find, and exceptionally laggy—typical signs that a matchmaking system is a skill based system. And in fact, fans were correct....

Last weekend, Guardians discovered a glitch that allowed them to stuff way more members onto a Destiny 2 fireteam than normal. Strikes are usually limited to three people, while raids are limited to six. However, this glitch allowed two fireteams to consistently combine forces to allow up to 12 people in a single activity. This included pretty much all PvE non-matchmade activities, including the new Presage mission. Bungie normally has a history of rushing off to patch out these bugs for fear of their unintended consequences, but this time they’ve decided to let the 12-person glitch stay–at least, for a little while....

With the trial weekend set to begin for Predator: Hunting Grounds, developer IllFonic revealed that players will be able to select female Predators alongside males.
