This Barry review contains spoilers. Barry Season 3 Episode 1 Three years is an eternity in TV time, but that’s how long we’ve been without Barry, Bill Hader’s immaculately produced hitman-turned-actor dramedy for HBO. As with all good things, COVID-19 impacted that show’s production schedule, but allowed Hader and co-creator Alec Berg more time to polish scripts and chart the season’s trajectory. That extra time feels apparent in the Season 3 premiere, “Forgiving Jeff,” (the title of which is stylized in all lower-case as all Barry episodes are) which reestablishes status quo with our returning characters, but also addresses last season’s big cliffhanger....

The wait is almost over. Tomorrow, Batman: Arkham Knight releases to legions of fans hungry to dish out some beatdowns to the hordes of thugs inhabiting the streets of Gotham City. After roughly a year of anticipation intensified by the barrage of countless ad campaigns and in-depth footage, such as Arkham Insider’s behind-the-scenes looks at the game, Rocksteady Studios has decided to ratchet up the excitement another notch with one more video....

Consoles gamers have been able to enjoy Batman: Arkham Knight to the fullest, with only minor issues since launch. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for those that prefer to play on PC, as Batman: Arkham Knight has been nothing but trouble for PC gamers since it released a couple of weeks ago. The problems with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight have been so bad that WB Games actually pulled the game from sale and offered full refunds....

In a post on its official blog, Telltale Games reveals the release date for its upcoming episodic series, Batman: The Telltale Series along with more details to come at Comic Con. The Recon Class in Battlefield has been my long-running favorite in the franchise. There’s something about the high-risk-high-reward nature of putting someone down in one shot (or missing and giving yourself away), that I very much enjoy. Sony announced Thursday morning that it is expanding its partnership with Activision regarding PS4 content exclusivity in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. According to Sony, all new Black Ops 4 post-launch content, across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Blackout, will feature a period of exclusivity on PS4 before coming to other platforms. Activision has confirmed that all post-launch content released for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will feature a 7-day exclusivity period on PS4....

Several months ago, Activision and Treyarch provided Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 fans with initial details about the first-person shooter’s forthcoming Season Pass dubbed the “Black Ops Pass” to offer those who purchase it bonus content for Zombies, Multiplayer, and Blackout. Now, the publisher and developer have decided to officially reveal the first of four exclusive Blackout characters for use on Day One for those who own the Black Ops Pass....

One of the biggest changes between Bloodborne and Dark Souls was the lack of weapon variety in the former… or at least, that’s what people assumed to be the case at first glance. A deeper look into Bloodborne’s Trick Weapons reveals unique movesets for each weapon, essentially two weapons rolled into one. Suffice to say, players have dissected the entire game as they tried to figure out the best weapon possible to take care of the waves of enemies and bosses the player faces in the game....

When one thinks of the Borderlands series, it’s usually the beefier, more explosive weapons that come to mind. Borderlands 3 just received some major free updates, including the start of the Revenge of the Cartels event and Mayhem Mode 2.0. Unfortunately, it sounds like the Borderlands 3 updates haven’t gone over smoothly. However, one Borderlands 3 playable character in particular appears to have a few interesting connections to other members of the Borderlands universe. The character in question is Zane the Operative, one of the new vault hunters introduced in Borderlands 3....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone have a lot planned for the Valentine’s Day weekend, giving the Warzone playlists some cute “love-themed” names, new store content, and the return of Kiss Confirmed in Cold War multiplayer, where defeated enemies drop candy hearts instead of dog tags. The final part of the weekend refresh for Black Ops Cold War is a Double Weapon XP event....

The reboot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been a commercial and critical success. Players have been creating a lot of content in the critically acclaimed Modern Warfare title and it seems that a Reddit user encountered a very funny moment while playing the game. Safe to say, the moment took the player by surprise, and their teammate was likely in shock too. As Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare continues, developer Infinity Ward is introducing a few new items to the mix this week with a substantial update dropping April 28th.
