Weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can sometimes be infuriatingly brittle. With every swing of your sword or swish of your bow, your weapon is losing durability and inching closer to breaking entirely. This applies to every weapon in the game (except one), not just the dime-a-dozen iron sledgehammers or woodcutting axes. Unfortunately, weapon repair is not possible in Breath of the Wild, and there are so many great weapons to use it can be downright heartbreaking to lose one forever....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Season 6 content is in full swing, with the game getting plenty of updates featuring gameplay tweaks and brand new guns. One of those new guns is the JAK-12 shotgun, which is actually a returning gun from the series’ past and originally leaked as the AA-12 shotgun from Modern Warfare 2. The JAK-12 essentially functions the same as the AA-12 shotgun from previous games, simply sporting a slightly altered name....

Months before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launched, it was confirmed that John “Soap” MacTavish would be in the game. However, Soap is so far nowhere to be seen in Modern Warfare, but that could change in the near future. A frequent Call of Duty franchise leaker has suggested that fan favorite character Soap may indeed be coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at some point soon. The “yellow perks” are the third perk tier in Call of Duty: Warzone and they act as the icing on the cake, often synergizing with one or both of the previous group perk selections. Flann Over Ireland is the next main quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Wrath of the Druids after Dublin’s Reach and marks the first occasion you will come into contact with Flann Sinna, High King of Ireland. This quest will automatically be added to your quest list after capturing one trade post during Dublin’s Reach, so if your active quest doesn’t automatically switch after completing that objective, simply open the menu and set the newly acquired Flann Over Ireland as your active mission....

Mundfish studio has demonstrated Atomic Heart’s ultra-detailed Unreal Engine graphics in photo mode, showing a close-up of the game’s protagonist KGB Agent P-3 running and shooting robots in real-time. Mundfish recently began showing off new materials from its next project, revealing new screenshots with game locations, enemies, weapons, and even some surprising gameplay mechanics for the open-world shooter. With its most recent teaser, devs show Atomic Heart’s in-game photo mode, a feature that will be ready at launch....

The most recent Pokémon Direct has revealed new information about the upcoming Pokémon Sword & Shield for Nintendo Switch. The Direct ended with a clip showing the two mascot legendaries for the games - Zacian, which looks like a massive metal wolf with a sword in its mouth, and Zamazenta, which looks like a wolf with a shield for a beard. It didn’t take long for fans to notice that Zacian resembled another famous sword-wielding wolf, as they quickly took to social media to point out that the newest Legendary Pokémon resembled the Great Grey Wolf Sif from Dark Souls....

Battlefield 3 came out back in October, but in the three months since, its only added content came in the form of the Back to Karkand DLC which came bundled with pre-ordered versions of the game. The Beastmaster stars Mark Singer as Dar, a young warrior in the kingdom of Aruk, which resides in a world that may or may not actually be our own. Because of some horrifying magical shenanigans surrounding his birth, Dar is able to communicate directly with animals, and his allies include a panther, an eagle, and two adorable ferrets who serve as his “thieves.” For kids of the early 1980s, The Beastmaster was an alternately thrilling and terrifying revelation, full of surprisingly graphic violence, some truly terrifying imagery (those weird bird people scarred me for life), and a pretty dark and serious tone for a guy who looks like He-Man who talks to animals....

This past generation, a number of studios took a swipe at the asymmetrical multiplayer genre, with horror games finding much more success than others. Dead by Daylight may be the premiere asymmetrical multiplayer horror game on the market, but a similar game that has gotten a lot of attention and playtime is Friday the 13th: The Game from developer Illfonic. Friday the 13th: The Game is a video game adaptation of the popular 80s slasher movie franchise of the same name....

Black Desert Online recently shifted publishing rights from Kakao Games to Pearl Abyss – and the payoff couldn’t have been more immediate. In the days following the server transfer, Black Desert on PC has seen an increase of over 200% in its daily players. Pearl Abyss America CEO, Jeonghee Jin, announced the staggering number during our recent interview. “Since the transfer, we’ve seen a significant increase of over 200% in our daily players and a huge increase in our new users as well,” Jin said....

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Beta has ended, leaving just the game’s elusive Blackout mode to be shown in the September beta before release. Last night, the social media accounts for Treyarch, Call of Duty, Activision, and David Vonderhaar changed their profile pictures, presumably to tease this final big feature of the game. The image, seen below, is a likely indicator that some kind of big reveal or announcement related to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is imminent....
