Gearbox Software’s Battleborn was an ambitious project, combining elements of MOBA games with hero shooters, and serving as a fairly significant departure from the studio’s Borderlands franchise. Unfortunately, Battleborn launched to mixed reviews, and its playerbase quickly dwindled. Battleborn’s servers are going offline later this month, which will make the game completely unplayable from that point forward. Activision has quietly added DualSense adaptive trigger support to Black Ops Cold War on PC, as highlighted by some of its players. Activision has rolled out Black Ops Cold War and Warzone’s Season Four Reloaded update this week, marking the midpoint of the current season. The Borderlands games have been known for their over-the-top humor, which has lent the series a unique tone compared to most other shooters on the market. Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford called upon Borderlands 3 players to get their opinions on what they wanted to see from future premium add-ons. The Twitter thread filled fast with most comments highlighting a general demand for new playable vault hunters. Pitchford’s request suggests that Gearbox will continue to provide content outside the four planned DLC’s for Borderland’s third title, with details of the fourth DLC to drop very soon. The action FPS that released in September last year has already received a healthy amount of additional content, including mini-game Borderlands Science....
