Batwoman Season 2 is already in for some pretty big changes, with Javicia Leslie taking up the mantle of the Bat. Now, she’s got a villain to face, as well. Alex Morf will be joining the cast of Batwoman as the vicious serial killer Victor Zsasz for the show’s second outing, according to reporting from EW. Morf makes the move to Batwoman from another Bat-adjacent show, Gotham, where he turned in a couple of episodes as Sykes, a gang leader during the No Man’s Land story....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has reinvented the Zombies mode in a major way. Tons of new features have been added, with even the core gameplay being shaken up. Changes fans have been asking for have been listened to, from bringing back the iconic Juggernog to making the Ray Gun good again. One of the new features introduced to Black Ops Cold War is the ability to upgrade parts of your loadout....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has gotten more details revealed in the past few weeks. Infinity Ward and Activision teased the Zombies mode for Black Ops Cold War not too long ago in Modern Warfare, and now more details on this upcoming mode has been released on the Call of Duty website. Call of Duty’s Zombies mode is a staple of the franchise going back in World at War, and has been a key element in the Black Ops games ever since....

In a matter of months the first console of the “next-gen” will be coming from Nintendo, yet no one knows or has confirmed the exact technical specs for the Wii U. Because of that, and what we all saw at E3, the debate continues as to whether or not the Wii U even qualifies as next-gen or if more appropriately, it’s a competitor for the six and seven year-old PS3 and Xbox 360, respectively....

Blizzard is now giving players a sneak peak of the schedule for BlizzCon 2021 later this month. From the main site, fans can expect news for a number of Blizzard titles including World of Warcraft, Overwatch, and more. Having started back in 2005, BlizzCon is a celebration of the company’s games and creators. Typically, viewers expect teases of unannounced projects and looks into upcoming content. However, the convention also includes panels for Blizzard employees and other talent to reveal what goes on behind the scenes....

The fifth game in the series, Borderlands 3 in a series engulfed in blood, guts, the occasion cockatiel, and crude humor that many fans just can’t get enough of. The third game of the main series is no different than it’s predecessors with billions of guns at your disposal and YouTuber-style villains who never miss the chance to give you the business or tell you how much they just wish you would die....

Borderlands 3 has been out for over a year, bringing four full story expansions to the game along with numerous seasonal events. The content released thus far has given fans plenty of new lore for the many characters integral to the story, with even minor members of the huge cast getting time to shine. A second season pass full of Borderlands 3 content is on the way as well, opening up the possibility for even more stories to be told within the looter-shooter’s expansive universe....

The communities that build up around games like Destiny 2 can sometimes feel like a close-knit guild or even a family to some players. And the centerpiece of that camaraderie is often the community or PR managers, who interact with fans on a regular basis, host game-related events, and become recognizable faces of the company in media and interviews. So when David Dague, or Bungie Community Manager DeeJ, shared that he would be leaving the studio after nearly a decade, it was understandably bittersweet....

When Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was first revealed, Infinity Ward revealed that fans would be getting a new sniper rifle sometime later in the season, but didn’t reveal anything about it. Now, almost two weeks later, the gameplay of that weapon, the Rytec AMR sniper rifle, has been leaked and, if it stays similar to how it handles right now, it’s looking like it’s going to pack an absolute wallop....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been another success for the longstanding franchise. After a positive reception, Modern Warfare has managed to keep fans entertained with a constant stream of updates and improvements. Despite many fans being pleased with the title, there are still lingering issues and it seems that there is no fix in sight for free tier skipping and the redeeming of the UDT Ghost bundle on Xbox One....

Call of Duty: Warzone has received a substantial update that adds a ton of new features, including a slew of new weapons for the Gulag. Players won’t just be restricted to a small subset of weapons when fighting for their lives in Warzone any longer. In Call of Duty: Warzone, dead players are sent to the Gulag and pitted against one another pulse-pounding close-quarters gunfights to earn the right to respawn....

Call of Duty: Warzone has been plagued by some serious balancing issues ever since it integrated itself with Black Ops Cold War. The Season 1 update saw a slew of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War guns added to Warzone, and it quickly became apparent than a few of these guns were overpowered, especially the DMR 14. Raven Software has listened to fan feedback about these overpowered Call of Duty: Warzone guns, and has issued an update to address the problems....

The beginning of Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4, as well as Call of Duty Mobile Season 7, has been delayed. As the protests and riots sparked by the killing of George Floyd continue in the US and around the world, more events are being canceled or postponed. Sony has delayed its PS5 reveal event, the release of Madden 21 has been postponed indefinitely, and now Infinity Ward and Activision have followed suit....

Ever since Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launched in November, a lot of players were hankering for some kind of ranked mode. Recently, Activision and Treyarch finally provided such a mode, League Play. But, upon actually trying it out, players were left disappointed and the mode was quickly criticized for multiple reasons. Even professional players have begun airing their grievances, such as Seth “Scump” Abner. Scump has been playing Call of Duty professionally since 2012’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and is currently a member of the OpTic Chicago esports team....

A playlist update for Call of Duty: Warzone has made some changes to the available game modes that fans can access. An announcement from the official Infinity Ward Twitter informed fans that an update had been released across all platforms. Warzone fans will be happy to see some game modes return as the developers continue to tweak and update the battle royale experience. As of the update, the developer is officially removing the Battle Royale 200 game mode and replacing it with some fan favorites from the past....

After having spent over 10 hours in the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla it’s easy to see how much detail Ubisoft has put into each element of the game. From the Settlement that serves as a home base for Eivor, to the revamped combat and loot systems, there is a lot from the preview that will leave players wanting more. What was most unexpected, though, is how addicting one of the side games would be....

Since the moment Avowed was revealed, many have compared it to Skyrim. From tone to the apparent playstyle of the game, it’s an easy comparison to make. Many even see it as Obsidian gunning for Bethesda’s crown, as it has seemingly answered Fallout with The Outer Worlds, Fallout 76 (and its survival take) with Grounded, and now Skyrim/Elder Scrolls with Avowed. However, there’s at least one way that Avowed could potentially be more comparable to Fallout....
