Borderlands 3 has had a strong offering of DLC since its release, with the original Season Pass bringing four full expansions and the second offering different kinds of content. While the Designer’s Cut brought fresh skins, a new game mode, and additional skill trees, the Director’s Cut is set to give players access to a completely different set of items. A true raid boss will be coming alongside the battle pass-like Vault Card system, and a set of murder mystery missions will see players assisting Ava as she solves some crimes....

Today was a big day for fans of Borderlands 3. During the latest episode of The Borderlands Show, Gearbox Software revealed the upcoming Borderlands 3 DLC 3 Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption, along with a new Takedown. At the end of The Borderlands Show, Gearbox also released a brand new shift code that fans of the looter-shooter can redeem to get their hands on three Golden Keys. The new Borderlands 3 shift code is available now and expires on Thursday, June 4 at 11:59pm PT....

The best of the best will be fighting for Brawlhalla’s $1 million prize pool this year. Ubisoft announced its plans for the game’s competitive scene in 2021 Monday. The French publisher is planning six international championships throughout 2021 from February to November. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the slugfest will be completely online. The Criterion Collection has officially announced Bruce Lee: His Greatest Hits, which will be released on July 14. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has quickly become a victim of its own genius. The colorful, free-for-all knockout title released this week, to both the amazement and dismay of fans - amazement because it’s just that great to actually play, dismay because of the annoying server issues that have plagued the game since its August 4 launch. The game’s devs have already had cause to extend apologies as a result of the many server complaints but the game continues to be a popular attraction on the gaming scene and it’s already been listed as a competitive title by Twitch, with a tournament now set....

Destiny 2 PC players have known only agony since Season of the Worthy when Bungie switched the game’s connection to use Valve’s servers. Developer Sledgehammer Games has introduced a new incentive to encourage potential Call of Duty: WW2 players to pick up the game sooner rather than later. Those who play COD:WW2’s multiplayer before November 17 will get access to a few little extra bonuses to help them in online play. The Pathfinder Pack is one of those bonuses and is free to any player as soon as they enter the Call of Duty: WW2 online multiplayer....

PlayStation 4 owners were able to battle it out on the battlefields of Call of Duty: WW2’s private multiplayer beta last weekend, and now Xbox One owners can join in on the action as well. Any Xbox One owners that have Call of Duty: WW2 pre-ordered and have received a beta code simply need to download it to get started. What’s surprising about this is that, much like the PS4 beta, the private beta has gone live on Xbox One a day earlier than originally announced....

Activision Blizzard is currently under investigation following accusations of harassment, discrimination, and fostering a hostile work environment. You can read more about the investigation here. The first wave of Call of Duty: Vanguard sales figures are starting to pour in, and they strongly suggest that this franchise will continue to dominate the next generation of gaming. While we’re still waiting for Vanguard‘s full sales figures to become available, UK retailers are reporting that the game’s physical sales figures were strong enough to knock FIFA 22 out of the top spot (which is a nice little accomplishment on its own)....

Hardcore racing simulator Assetto Corsa Competizione will be racing onto PS4 and Xbox on June 23, 2020. Developer KUNOS Simulazioni and publisher 505 Games made the announcement over on the game’s official forums and revealed plans for future DLC packs and car additions. A new trailer was also uploaded to show the game running on console hardware. Anyone that pre-orders the console version of Competizione will be given access to the “Intercontinental GT Pack” when it releases....

Mattel’s Hot Wheels division was on fire at San Diego Comic-Con@Home. On Friday they held a video panel featuring some amazing prototypes and concept art for everything from Star Wars to Mario Kart to Rugrats (Say what??) to a beautiful collection of Overwatch Character Cars. Hot Wheels first used the brand “Character Car” in 2010 with release of Toy Story 3 cars and race sets. However, the concept really began in 1979 when a partnership with Marvel resulted in a very successful range of popular Marvel Super Hero Hot Wheels entered the production line....

During this weekend’s BitSummit expo, beloved indie developer Inti Creates announced the return of its acclaimed Azure Striker Gunvolt series (known as Armed Blue: Gunvolt), which started on the Nintendo 3DS in 2014. Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 was announced by none other than Mega Man designer and Mighty Number 9 director Keiji Inafune, who will be participating in this entry’s development. The trailer, which was revealed during a presentation held by Inti Creates during the expo, reveals improved visuals, new music and, most noteworthy, a brand new playable character in the form of Kirin....

Despite usually wanting to present the objective truth, documentary filmmakers wield an enormous amount of power in shaping the perception of their chosen subjects. Documentarians are the arbiters of what footage does and does not make it into a documentary in the first place. Then, once that footage is incorporated, the filmmakers can always add subtle touches like music, subtitles, or further context to influence the audience in one way or another....

While the series has not been in the public eye for a while, Baldur’s Gate 3 looks to put its fantasy world back on the map. In some ways, it’s comparable to Dungeons & Dragons 5E, but in others it is its own entity. The comparison will not come as a surprise to anyone familiar with Baldur’s Gate 3 or the other games in the series. Batman: Arkham Knight is one of the biggest game releases of 2015. The game is a critical success, and is sure to be a commercial success as well when it’s all said and done. EA and DICE are set to formally announce Battlefield V later this week, officially revealing the game’s setting and offering the first look at multiplayer gameplay. In the run-up to the May 23 event, the companies have been teasing the game with brief trailers and promo art. A new piece of promo art has shown up on PS4 and it appears to hint at weapons, characters, and gameplay. PS4 players report that they have seen a Battlefield V event notification, reminding them of the announcement that’s taking place on May 23....
