The Bill and Ted films from the late ’80s and early ’90s became cult classics over time. Many fans were ecstatic to know that Bill and Ted Face the Music was revealed. Both the original Black Christmas (1974) and its 2006 remake were structured around the same basic plot: a killer is stalking the women of a college sorority house who stayed behind during the winter break, with the big “reveal” being that the murderer has been hiding inside the house the entire time. The 1974 film (directed by Bob Clark) was surprising in that it ultimately did not identify the killer, and that it also dealt with issues like abortion and women’s liberation–both hot-button topics then and, sadly, now....

Warner Bros. is officially working on a new feature adaptation of a comic book series, but not one of their typical heroes. Instead they’ve chosen to adapt Black, a comic created by Kwanza Osajyefo and Tim Smith 3, set in a world where only Black people have superpowers. Though the film project was originally announced in 2018 in collaboration with Studio 8, only now has Warner Bros. decided to come on board....

Publisher Activision and developer Treyarch officially announce the release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Eclipse DLC package for PC and Xbox One platforms. With Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Eclipse DLC having been released in April for PlayStation 4, the first-person shooter’s developers are now ready to share the content’s release date for the game’s other major platforms. According to an announcement by Treyarch, PC and Xbox One fans will be able to get their hands on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s second expansion pack on May 19, which is exactly a month’s difference from its initial launch on PS4....

Borderlands 2’s latest DLC, Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary, allows players to take on a new raid boss, grind for new rainbow rarity weapons and items, check out new Easter eggs, and return to the world of Pandora for a new adventure prior to the release of Borderlands 3. What’s more, this has all been available for free so far, but it appears that this new DLC will not be free for much longer....

Borderlands 2’s latest DLC, Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary, formally introduces a new story to explore, a new raid boss to beat, and a new rarity of weapon to collect. The Effervescent rarity — commonly known as the rainbow rarity — ranks up there with legendary and pearlescent weapons, making their collection a high priority for many Borderlands diehards. Fortunately, there seems to be an increased spawn of the rarity type at higher levels in the new Borderlands 2 DLC, presumably as lead-up to their inclusion in Borderlands 3....

Borderlands 3 has announced what its Director’s Cut will include, with the pack bringing a series of murder mystery missions to the game alongside a raid boss and a battle pass-like progression system. This new Borderlands 3 DLC will also be mirroring the Designer’s Cut expansion by providing players with a new set of heads and skins for each Vault Hunter. Functioning as the game’s second Multiverse cosmetic pack, the outfits showcase what the four playable characters would look like if they came from a different universe....

Surprise! There’s a new XCOM game coming out very soon! This came out of left field, but we’re not complaining. A brand new XCOM game is coming out in less than two weeks. Set five years after the end of XCOM 2, it shows a future Earth where aliens and humanity can get along just fine and coexist peacefully. 2K Games announced today that Firaxis had been working on XCOM: Chimera Squad for the last little while in secret....

It is well known that both Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare have a severe hacker problem. While Activision and Infinity Ward work hard to stop cheating players, members of the Call of Duty community continue to report problems. With Warzone having millions of players registered, Infinity Ward and Activision have an uphill battle to contend with. Hacking continues to be a problem, but recent Infinity Ward and Activision report that anti-cheat endeavors have proven effective....

While Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone came with plenty of new content, the big update has also introduced new bugs to the mode. Yesterday, one of those glitches was found when a Warzone player stumbled upon a way to teleport outside of the Gulag after being eliminated — though not in a helpful way. Call of Duty player SyleathS-TV posted the clip of the glitch to the r/CODWarzone subreddit, and it kicks off as one would expect....

While bugs are a common occurrence in Call of Duty: Warzone, having a member of Infinity Ward’s development team respond is less common. Bugs are reported almost daily, as fans find something broken in almost every patch. Meanwhile, Warzone has quickly gained a reputation for constantly being under maintenance, with the development team presumably working hard to repair every problem. The clip that gained a reply showed evidence of a major fault in Warzone’s fences causing a player to lose a fight....

Despite Activision’s efforts to curtail hackers infiltrating Call of Duty: Warzone, gamers have been reporting another surge of issues with cheaters and hackers in the game. After Activision’s pro-active approach to trying to tackle cheaters and hackers in the game, Call of Duty: Warzone players have shared their recent negative encounters on Reddit, which many have claimed are ruining lobbies, their experiences, and, ultimately, the game. With frustrations running high, one Reddit user begged for Activision to get a reliable, long-term fix in place....
