Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies got off to a strong start with Die Maschine and Firebase Z, and it seems like Treyarch is doing all it can to keep fans of the mode invested. As part of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2, Zombies players will have some new skills to use and upgrade. The addition of new, upgradeable skills could not come at a better time, as Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak mode will see fans getting a proper open-world Zombies experience for the first time ever....

Call of Duty: Warzone has been a hit with players as it introduces the mechanics of Call of Duty into a free-to-play battle royale game mode. The game has been popular with fans, and as a result, there have been some incredible achievements and scenes in Warzone. The video game industry has always proved itself a fluid one, with those working in gaming moving from company to company to work on new projects all the time. Now, it looks as though Crystal Dynamics is going to be the next studio facing some behind-the-scenes changes....

As Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone continue to add new content, the games have become infamous for their huge file sizes. In April there were conversations about Modern Warfare’s file size getting out of control once it began to reach 200GB, but one fan has thought up a way to accommodate these update downloads more reasonably now that Season 5 is coming. A Reddit user named Mokoo101 suggests Activision and Infinity Ward give “Premium Users,” those who paid for Modern Warfare, priority access to preloading any new patches....

The release date of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was a life-changing day for many of us. It was the day we were given almost everything we wanted in an RPG, and more that we didn’t know we needed. Versatile combat, impactful decision-making, charming voice lines, stunning graphics (with the right mods), and most importantly, dragon battles; all of these mesh seamlessly to create a truly iconic video game. During a recent series of tweets discussing ‘perfect’ films, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn argued that while Back to the Future may be considered a favorite film by many, it can’t be considered perfect because of a plot hole surrounding Marty McFly and his parents. Gunn points out the apparent flaw that Marty’s parents never notice the fact that he strikingly resembles their old friend, Calvin Klein, who helped to put the two together in the first place....

GameRefinery released its latest mobile gaming report today, shedding light on new trends throughout the industry. Most noticeable was the rise in Battle Pass use, with twice as many games now offering a premium Battle Pass compared to a year ago. As governments crackdown on loot boxes and legislation is slowly working to limit their effectiveness, developers are looking for other ways to monetize free-to-play games. And it seems that Battle Passes have become the new gold standard....

In 2016, Gearbox Software took a gamble. Instead of immediately moving forward with the highly-anticipated Borderlands 3, it instead decided to pursue a new IP in the form of the FPS/MOBA hybrid Battleborn. Unfortunately for Gearbox, the Battleborn gamble didn’t pay off like it hoped, and the game quickly faded into obscurity. And now, roughly five years since the game’s original release, the Battleborn servers have been officially shut down....

DICE releases more information and details on the Battlefield 1 single player campaign including what players can expect and how it’s different from past single player efforts. Fans of the upcoming World War I shooter, Battlefield 1 finally got their first look at the single player campaign through an impressive trailer. While the majority of the previously released gameplay footage and information has centered around the multiplayer side of the game, this first look at the campaign showed off multiple characters in various locations mixed with high action moments....

A piano is coming to the Nintendo Switch this week. However, unlike in Pokemon, where status moves aren’t as reliable in battle, debuffs in Monster Sanctuary are almost mandatory and shouldn’t be ignored. There are many different debuffs in Monster Sanctuary, including Burn, Poison, and Bleed for damage dealing, while Weakness, Armor Break, Chill, Tether, and Blind all work to make the opponents less powerful in some way....
