Many shooter fans were interested in seeing what former Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinski would create next. The game itself, Lawbreakers, picked up some positive feedback upon release, but launch numbers started poorly and continued to diminish. One small area that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players are divided on is the use of a “Best Play” feature to conclude a match. With a new season of Modern Warfare and Warzone comes a new set of weapons added to the ever-expanding roster of armaments in the game, while balancing changes, meta shifts, and new discoveries have re-defined the best weapons and builds over the course of the last season. Infinity Ward has published a new patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare across all platforms. This patch fixes tons of persisting issues and gave an immediate fix to some new bugs and errors noticed by fans. This midweek update comes directly after several problems were reported across the game. The developers were quick to respond to the persistent issues and have made some minor adjustments for balancing across multiple guns....

As is typical of this time of year, rumors have been swirling about the next game in the Call of Duty franchise. Activision has been especially secretive about this year’s entry, allegedly due to some behind-the-scenes drama, but the general consensus is that the game will be developed by Treyarch, the studio behind the Black Ops series. Considering this, many have assumed that the next Call of Duty is Black Ops 5 or a Black Ops reboot, but apparently the game may actually be titled Call of Duty: Vietnam instead....

The “Demon Gun” glitch made headlines after it appeared during a Call of Duty: Warzone tournament. Although Warzone’s development team claim to have fixed it, the problem seems to still be manifesting in other areas. It was not long ago that a Warzone fan reported the return of the infamous Call of Duty bug, which sees models get jagged edges and grow in size. The fact that Call of Duty: WW2 sales have performed much better than last year’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was already proof that the new game has been a success. But publisher Activision has now revealed some numbers that highlight exactly how well the World War 2-set shooter is performing. In a press release, Activision announced that Call of Duty: WW2 made over $500 million during its launch weekend. This is the “sell-through worldwide” figure, meaning that the total includes games sold to customers across the world, rather than those copies of the game just sitting on store shelves....

Call of Duty: WW2 has added Shipment 1944 to its selection of multiplayer maps starting this weekend. The map is a revamped version of a popular map from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, only with a World War 2 twist. Some will remember Shipment as the map with all of the shipping containers from Modern Warfare. It was relatively small, tight quarters, which worked well for the fast pace of Infinity Ward’s revolutionary multiplayer....
