Infinity Ward shows off the first mission from Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Remastered, highlighting the improved visuals but retained feel of the 2007 classic FPS. While Activision gets a bad reputation for taking things away from gamers, and usually saving them for DLC, few can deny that the publisher didn’t deliver with Modern Warfare Remastered. The fans were clamoring for a current-gen release of the Infinity Ward classic, and earlier this year Activision confirmed they were making just that....

Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare are embracing the spooky Halloween season entirely as October 31 approaches. Activision and Infinity Ward announced Warzone’s Halloween event in late September through a trailer on Call of Duty’s official YouTube channel. The trailer revealed some of the new content that is coming to Warzone and Modern Warfare on October 20, including brand-new festive cosmetics and game modes. Now, Activision has put out an in-depth blog post on its Call of Duty: Warzone page that details all the new rewards and modes coming this Halloween season....

Hacking has been a long-recurring problem for the Call of Duty: Warzone community. Since the original launch of the title, Activision and its developer studios have been in a losing battle against cheaters and hack developers. While Call of Duty: Warzone has been through ban waves and anti-cheat updates, the title still remains heavily populated by hackers. Activision has recently banned 60,000 player accounts with 30,000 permanent bans mixed in. While this does aid in Call of Duty: Warzone’s effort to remove the hacking problem, they are still appearing....

Activision has teased a big update for Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare for April 28, and now more details have been revealed. After downloading the April 28 update, Call of Duty: Warzone players will be able to find a new type of contract on the battle royale that has very interesting implications for player strategies moving forward. The new Call of Duty: Warzone contract is called Most Wanted. Upon collecting it, players will make themselves a bounty target for all enemy players in the game....

Call of Duty’s next installment, Vanguard, isn’t being revealed at E3. Rather, according to VGC, we’ll see an official unveiling of the World War 2 shooter later this summer. It’s being helmed by Sledgehammer Games who were originally the ones developing Cold War before behind-the-scenes issues saw it rebranded to fit the Black Ops moniker, undergoing a Treyarch overhaul. It’ll return to the setting they last explored, the aforementioned WW2, with zombies also set to have yet another outing....

As expected, Infinity Ward has released a new update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the Warzone battle royale. The new update is light on any big changes to either game, but it does change up the playlists quite a bit, giving fans of the FPS titles some fresh game modes to try. For Modern Warfare, the July 21 update brings back standard Ground War, Reinfected Ground War, Cranked, and Gunfight 3v3 - Snipers Only....

The Battlefield V open multiplayer beta has been going on for a couple of days now, and it has been the source of some controversy. Unfortunately for THQ Nordic, BioMutant, the publisher’s post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu action RPG, leaked ahead of an official announcement at gamescom 2017. But the company along with the game’s developer, Experiment 101, seem to have gotten over it and have been revealing more about the game at the German event. The very first BioMutant gameplay trailer has now debuted. In the footage, which is just over a minute of stitched together scenes, the anthropomorphic player character can be seen roaming through a picturesque land that ranges from a lush space by the water, a blistering desert, and an ice cold area as well....

Not too long ago, Activision and Treyarch released Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Operation Absolute Zero update for PlayStation 4 fans, with the free content set to debut on PC and Xbox One platforms at a later date.
