Surprisingly, a few of the minds behind the Knights of the Old Republic franchise actually started to publicly express an interest in getting back to the beloved RPG universe. The original KOTOR game launched in 2003 and was followed by an equally successful sequel, The Sith Lords, just a year later. The Bioware team returned to the Star Wars universe in The Old Republic MMO, but the game really feels like its own venture, rather than a spiritual successor to the original two....

File this one under “get yourself put on a government watchlist.” Animal Crossing: New Horizons features a strange glitch that reveals, well, maybe more than you wanted to see of your cute little villager. See, much ado has been made of New Horizons’ refusal to specifically gender players. It’s a cool feature that gives enby folks a little room to breathe in a game specifically designed for that. However, in lieu of typical “are you a boy or girl” questions at the start of the game, players are asked to choose a “style” - one more traditionally masculine and one more feminine....

There are tons of ways to play Black Desert Online in order to get the most mileage out of it but the general consensus among the community is that everything else pales in comparison to Node Wars and Sieges. My new ritual for firing up a new episode of Black Mirror is trying to guess the inspiration behind each story. Series creator Charlie Brooker has maintained that his program is speculative fiction. Maybe it’s eerie coincidence that his fictional stories set in a near future aren’t that far off from reality. Late last night, developer Inti Creates announced that the recently released Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 will be getting a Boss Rush mode next week. Releasing on July 16, 2020, in the game’s 1.2.0 update, it will bring an extra option that allows players to challenge each of the game’s bosses in a single go. This was something that came standard in the first Curse of the Moon, so it was likely not included due to time constraints....

Blumhouse Productions has won the screen rights to “She Stalked Her Daughter’s Killers Across Mexico, One by One,” a New York Times article from December 13. The story, written by the NYT’s Mexican bureau chief Azam Ahmed, is about the late Miriam Rodríguez Martínez, a grieving mother in Mexico who tracked down her daughter’s murderers one at a time and turned them over to the police. The production has yet to officially begin, but whatever ends up being made from the story will be produced by the New York Times’ Caitlin Roper, as well as Ahmed and Blumhouse’s founder/namesake Jason Blum....

It’s that time again: another installment in the much-beloved and often-maligned Call of Duty franchise is on its way and this time it’s abandoning spacesuits and energy weapons and going back to its roots: the gritty, jaw-clenching chaos of the Second World War. It’s been a while since Call of Duty has visited the beaches at Normandy or trudged through the blood-soaked forests of Ardennes and the upcoming release has everyone buzzing....

When Borderlands 3 released, many people flocked to the new siren character, Amara. Soon, build after build for the character started to come forth all offering insane amounts of damage that could one-shot bosses and make ordinary psychos look like children. It is safe to say that Amara is one of the fan favorites for the new game. With the addition of an increased level cap and class mods that put others to shame, Amara has become more powerful than ever before, but some people may still be struggling to make a build for her or maybe haven’t tried her out yet....

The British Hurricane continued their EU Overwatch Contenders dominance after sweeping the October tournament, winning match after match with little resistance. The London Spitfire academy team continued their impressive 2020 season where they haven’t lost a single tournament for the entirety of the year in Europe, securing their place as one of the most dominant (if not most dominant) Overwatch Contenders teams of all time regardless of region. British Hurricanes dominant 2020 is something professional Overwatch has never seen before....

After almost two years of monthly updates, the time has come to bid farewell to Battlefield 1. Well, it’s not like you have to stop playing it. It’s just that DICE has announced it will stop supporting the game in June. In a post on the Battlefield 1 blog, Jonas Elfving of DICE explains the latest updates coming to the game. He then drops a little bit at the end announcing June as the end of monthly updates....

Treyarch and Activision reveal a new, seriously creepy trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles. The undead-focused DLC was officially announced last week for PS4. A brand new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles offers a glimpse at the remastered maps set to be added to the popular zombie mode in the first-person shooter. The forthcoming DLC adds better-looking versions of eight maps from three previous Call of Duty games (World at War, Black Ops 1 and 2) including Origins, which features a terrifying mech that towers over everything, and the famous Kino der Toten (cinema of the dead), which offers a good zombie killing romp....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is planning to integrate Call of Duty: Warzone at the beginning of December. While this seems like a great plan at first, many fans are starting to have some concerns prior to the merge. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has only just released to fans, and players are realizing it is a very different experience. While combining the force of Call of Duty: Warzone with the design of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War seems natural, the two games are fundamentally different....

An online listing reveals that the forthcoming futuristic first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, features in-game movement similar to Black Ops 3. After the trailer leaked ahead of the reveal for the Infinity Ward-developed Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, game publisher Activision went on to say that the title’s multiplayer would provide fans with an “evolution of Call of Duty’s movement system,” but failed to give specific details as to what it meant....

The stream of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 5 news continues to flow. An LMG originally teased in the Season 5 Roadmap has appeared in leaked footage, giving fans an early look at the upcoming weapon. Fans are expecting the weapon to debut in Modern Warfare during a mid-season update. Now that Season 5 is officially in rotation, players are peering down the line at future features. There is not much known about the upcoming LMG with some players doubting its category completely and betting on a new AR....

When Call of Duty: Warzone kicked off its Black Ops Cold War integration with Season 1, it saw a huge influx of new guns. The vast majority of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapons were added to Call of Duty: Warzone overnight, throwing the game’s balance into some chaos. Some of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapons have proven to be far too overpowered in Warzone, with the DMR 14 being the most notorious example....

Back in December, Call of Duty: WW2 added fan favorite game modes like Gun Game and Prop Hunt, but only for a limited time as part of the Winter Siege multiplayer event. Now thanks to popular demand, both Gun Game and Prop Hunt have been added back to the game as permanent modes. Call of Duty: WW2 players looking to play Gun Game or Prop Hunt will find the modes in the Featured playlist tab....

Call of Duty: Mobile recently launched a test server, allowing players to get a sneak-peek of new features that will be added to the game by the end of the month. There are a few limitations — the test server is only available on Android and it ends on April 21 — but the amount of content being tried out is staggering. For starters, three new game modes are being tested....

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has just been officially confirmed by Ubisoft, with a full reveal coming tomorrow, and fans are clamoring to know exactly what the upcoming game will entail–in terms of gameplay, story, the main character, and beyond. While the “Vikings setting” for the next Assassin’s Creed game was just a highly-corroborated rumor up until now, it appears the rumors were well-founded, even if the game’s real title isn’t Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok....

The fan-favorite Nickelodeon television series Avatar: The Last Airbender continues to make waves 15 years after it first premiered. Netflix added Avatar into its catalog on May 15, and since then it has appeared in the streaming service’s “Top 10 Shows” list longer than any other program. Avatar: The Last Airbender broke this record when it surpassed the 57-day streak of Ozark, Bill Dubuque’s American crime drama series that began its three-season run in 2017, on July 15....
