The first season of Beastars launched Netflix in Japan October 8th of last year. Based on the award-winning manga by Paru Itagaki, the show was quickly given an English dub and an American release in March of 2020. Since then it has been confirmed that the series was indeed getting a second season, and just recently, some interesting new artwork was revealed in anticipation of its January release. It’s an intense piece of key art, featuring a lot of returning characters, as well as new faces for the cast....

As we’ve seen from anatomically correct internal diagrams, Fall Guys are really horrible creatures. About the same size as an adult human, Fall Guys have extended eyestalks, bird-like legs, and hands with terrifyingly long phalanges so they can grasp oversized objects, like balls, eggs, or crates. They also have no mouths, which would make it pretty difficult to eat in the conventional sense. But of course, Fall Guys are nothing if unconventional....

Training Day is one of the archetypal crime dramas of its time. It features a classic standoff between a young, fresh-off-the-street rookie police officer named Jake Hoyt (Ethan Hawke) and his veteran partner Alonzo Harris (Denzel Washington). BioWare has yet to set their popular sci-fi series Mass Effect out to pasture and while Shepard’s story has come to its end - although we don’t know how definite those statements are - the studio has started batting around ideas for games that continue exploring the series’ universe through new characters, or spinoffs with already popular ones. We already know another Mass Effect is underway at BioWare Montreal, but whether this is a proper numbered sequel or one of the aforementioned spinoffs, isn’t clear....

Marvel Studios’ release schedule is probably going to experience another shakeup due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Disney is reportedly likely to push back the release date of Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow for the second time. Marvel Studios’ Black Widow was scheduled to launch the official summer 2020 season on May 1 and while Disney initially planned to maintain the release date despite the COVID-19 outbreak, the pandemic eventually forced the company to push back the film to November 6, 2020....

When one talks about some of the most challenging games ever released, then it goes without saying that Bloodborne would be an inevitable part of the conversation. After all, this title reinvigorated the combat that was made popular in Dark Souls by adding a burst of energy and adrenaline to the proceedings, making for a gaming experience that is truly unique in every sense of the word. However, to praise Bloodborne solely on the merits of this balanced difficulty would be a huge disservice to the other achievements of the game that are equally as impressive, if not more so....

The demand by fans for a sequel or even just a frames-per-second patch for the PS5 are loud and evident and it doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon. For those looking to play through the game once again or hop in for the first time, there are several missable and optional events and questlines that are worth experiencing....

Bloodborne is another great From Software game, meaning that it’s brutal, difficult, and most of all, fair. Any mistake that a player makes in the game is due to their own missteps — something you can practice. Although some would have you believe otherwise, the game challenges gamers like few others have, doing the Souls formula better than Souls does (most of the time). Any excellent game is going to come packed with awesome things that even the most seasoned hunter may not know....

The Borderlands series is packed with more than its share of memorable player characters, from the enigmatic Zer0 to the badass siren Lilith. This makes it all the more interesting that one of the series’ most beloved character isn’t playable at all, but rather an NPC named Tiny Tina. Introduced in Borderlands 2 as the world’s youngest explosives expert, Tina’s colorful personality and indomitable positive attitude have made her a fan favorite for years after the game’s initial release....

Bravely Default 2 boasts no less than 24 jobs in its versatile job system. Only two or three jobs are optional, requiring the player to go off the beaten path to claim them via side quests or chase the true ending for the ultimate Asterisk. The rest of the jobs are unlocked through simple story progression, and the final Asterisk players will claim this way is that of the Hellblade job....

Beehives have appeared in Zelda games since the early 90s, with bees being a noticeable addition in A Link To The Past that could be exploited in order to defeat several tough enemies much easier. While bees can’t be caught and bottled in Breath of the Wild, their food byproduct, Courser Bee Honey, is a very useful food item that should be grabbed whenever the opportunity presents itself. There are several places where the player can find Courser Bee Honey, though the majority of them are out of the way or difficult to spot....

According to an official announcement from developer Bungie, the studio’s former Chief Operating Officer, Pete Parsons, is now its Chief Executive Officer. Bungie’s Board of Directors has officially appointed Pete Parsons as the Destiny developer’s new Chief Executive Officer, with Harold Ryan stepping down from the position as the company’s President. As of writing, Activision, Destiny’s publisher and partner in the studio’s 10 year distribution deal, has shared no comment on the situation....

Activision announces that microtransactions have been added to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 in the game’s latest update in the form of Call of Duty points. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has already made Activision quite a bit of cash, with the game dominating sales charts and defeating Fallout 4 to be the best-selling game of November 2015. Now Activision is looking to capitalize on the massive popularity of the game by introducing microtransactions to the experience....

Activision and Treyarch reveal that mod tools are coming to the PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 at some point in 2016, with a closed alpha planned for March. Despite not being held in very high regard by many in the gaming community, Activision seems like they’re starting to listen to what players want from their flagship Call of Duty franchise. This was apparent when Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 featured an extensive multiplayer beta for the first time since World at War launched in 2008, and it’s apparent yet again with the announcement of an often-requested feature coming to the PC version of the game....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launches November 13, and players are excited to see what Treyarch and Raven Software have in store for them.
