While perhaps not as divisive as the Krogan genophage, Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer has certainly garnered an equal share of supporting praise and critical barbs from fans of BioWare’s elegiac trilogy capper. It’s not because the mode is teaming with awesome moments and subsequent gaping flaws - it’s a straightforward, effective four player co-op premise that demands little in the way of appreciation or beration (read more in our review). Rather, many are simply trying to figure out just how the hell it all factors in to the main campaign’s ending....

Black Desert Online is getting a new mode that will allow players to compose their own songs in-game. There is also an excellent log-in event running at the moment. If that wasn’t enough, the publishers are also changing the game packages for Black Desert Online. Kakao Games and Pearl Abyss announced the news. ‘Compose and Play’ will allow anyone using a Shai class to compose Tunes, using a well-designed editor. Players can choose between drums, flute, and guitar to create their tunes, and then share them with other players....

Update: Treyarch has released a statement on how it will address the gestures concerns. It reads: Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 may only a day old but already players are discovering a game-breaking glitch within the game’s Blackout battle royale mode. By using emotes, players are able to peak around corners and over structures in order to gain an unfair advantage over opponents. “We’re aware that players have been able to use Gestures (often referred to by the community as ‘Emotes’) to peek around corners in modes where that can create an unfair advantage....

As Halloween inches closer by the day, many are likely wondering what new games to play to honor the spooky season. Of course, there’s already a number of utterly terrifying new releases set to launch in the next few weeks, including Amnesia: Rebirth, Remothered: Broken Porcelain, and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope. If you picked up the DLC expansions for Breath of the Wild, you’ll be able to complete some challenges themed around each of the four Divine Beast pilots. One of them is Mipha, whose quest is called Ex Champion Mipha’s Song. Complete this series of tasks and you’ll receive an upgrade to your Mipha’s Grace ability, causing it to recharge much faster after use. Despite the fact that Activision plans on releasing the beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout battle royale mode in less than two weeks, there’s still very little we actually know about what the mode will entail. Not too long ago, it was revealed by Activision and Sledgehammer Games that the forthcoming World War II-inspired shooter, Call of Duty: WW2, is set to receive 10 different multiplayer maps at launch next month. Now the publisher and developer have officially revealed that Season Pass holders will get one more map at release, with the companies confirming a classic Bonus Map coming in the form of Carentan. Atlus is thinking of ways to reveal a new Persona project, as the 25th anniversary celebrations for the series are due to take place next year. The Persona series is a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. The first entry was Revelations: Persona, which was released in North America and Japan in ‘96. Xbox may have dropped the ball and accidentally leaked that Batman: Arkham Knight is getting an Xbox Series S|X update. Microsoft explained in a recent post that the store can now inform users of the languages that each listed game supports. However, in the featured image of the article, Reddit user Crusader3456 spotted something odd about Batman: Arkham Knight’s logo. The first-person shooter Battlefield 5 is the latest game to be giving out Halloween treats to celebrate the spooky season.
