Call of Duty: Warzone has been making an effort to gain control of its hacker epidemic. After community pressure increased, streamers leaving the game, and many other complaints, the game’s developer instituted a massive ban against hackers. While the Call of Duty: Warzone community has had less of a problem since then, it appears that hackers may be returning despite Activision’s efforts. Activision announced a ban of over 60,000 player accounts alongside a promise to fix its anti-cheat methods....

Fans of Activision’s Call of Duty franchise are waiting to hear more about the next entry in the series, with a Call of Duty 2020 reveal possibly coming next week via crates sent out by Activision, and teasers already appearing in Call of Duty: Warzone. While all that is going on, Call of Duty: Mobile continues to receive its own content updates, but its developers recently confirmed players will have to wait before they can play a fan-favorite map on the go....

The Peaches and Herb song “Reunited” would probably be the appropriate soundtrack to the reports that AT&T’s WarnerMedia is in talks to sell its anime-focused streaming service Crunchyroll to Sony. The lyrics “reunited and it feels so good” describe a deal that could rekindle a partnership between WarnerMedia-owned Crunchyroll and Sony-owned Funimation that ended in 2018, if it weren’t for that awkward $1.5 billion dollar asking price. According to a report in The Information, a deal was in the works but Sony balked at paying that much for a niche streaming service....

Blizzard is “totally open” to adding mod support to Overwatch, reveals game director Jeff Kaplan. The multiplayer shooter already seems to be popular with the mod community, with modders having added character Tracer to Street Fighter 5. It took me longer than it should have to fully complete Bravely Default 2. While turn-based JRPGs have always been my favorite type of game, I haven’t played one that had so many different job and ability combos before. Thus, I was on a bit of a learning curve. Though I did eventually manage to complete the game on normal, I majorly struggled with many of the boss battles throughout. The game did become easier once I made myself accept that I couldn’t just pick four jobs and stick with them through the game, but I didn’t realize until after completing the game how truly broken so many of these job and ability combos are....
