Avatar: The Last Airbender fan Raise a Fist has recreated Avatar’s opening sequence to great effect. He posted his efforts onto Twitter and has asked viewers to help him get the video noticed by Netflix so that he might have a chance of being picked up for the streaming service’s upcoming live-action remake. Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender will be a retelling of the famous anime-inspired show. Unlike the cinematic failure that released a decade ago, this live-action remake won’t be a movie but a full-on tv show....

Coming just in time for Christmas, new Baldur’s Gate 3 developer Larian Studios has released a brand new video to celebrate the season within the game. Dropping on December 24th, the new video is a happy, little carol all about the impending, Lovecraftian nightmare that is the Mind Flayer infection in Baldur’s Gate 3, with a bit of a dark turn through the otherwise cheery song. Titled Tadpole for you, tadpole for me, the song follows a familiar Baldur’s Gate 3 cinematic of a man being transformed into a Mind Flayer after being infected by one of the titular tadpoles, but with a few festive features added to the video....

A recent Battlefield survey has provided some pretty big hints towards the future of the series, indicating that it might have some free-to-play elements. With Battlefield 6 coming out sometime this year, it appears that EA is starting to push the game forward a bit. EA and DICE’s World War 2 shooter Battlefield V is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year. Among other things, the game would feature the emotive War Stories campaign, frantic multiplayer and it would also offer its take on the battle royale trend. The game was initially set to release in October, but unfortunately for fans, Battlefield V has now been delayed. In a post on the game’s official website, Oskar Gabrielson, the general manager at Battlefield V developer DICE, confirms that the game has been delayed to November 20, 2018....

Female heroes in video games are still a rarity. However, things have improved since the ’80s and ’90s, but there are still more men than women in games. The genre where female characters seem to be the strongest is RPGs, especially fantasy ones. The easy answer as to why is because a lot of RPGs offer character customization, including gender. Silent protagonists won’t do on this list though. Every entry had to allow gamers to not only play as these women, but they also had to speak....

Borderlands 3’s King’s Call legendary pistol is an interesting weapon that some players will certainly want to add to their arsenals. In particular, the King’s Call may appeal to those fans that are focusing their Borderlands 3 builds around scoring critical hits, as indeed the weapon provides bonuses for landing them.
