Atlus recently revealed a brief trailer for an upcoming new iteration of Persona 5, called Persona 5: The Royal. It seems that Atlus has more Persona 5 games in development than anyone realized, as they have also just launched a website with www.p5s.jp as its address, with the promise of a further announcement later this month. The Persona 5: The Royal website has www.p5r.jp as its address, so it stands to reason that this new game will be a Persona 5 title with a subtitle beginning with the letter S, and the most obvious choice for that letter is Switch....

Valve Corporation officially will be paying $3 AUD million fine after an appeal was rejected on April 19th, 2018. In 2014 the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission commenced legal action against the giant gaming company. The ACCC alleged at the time that Valve had made “… false or misleading representations to Australian customers of Steam.” Prior to 2015, Valve’s policy was as follows, “As with most software products, unless required by local law, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on games, DLC or in-game items purchased on our website or through the Steam Client....

DICE reveals the multiplayer classes for the newly-announced Battlefield 1, with the World War I-themed shooter gaining some brand new classes and regaining some old ones. After what seemed like a long wait, developer DICE has now confirmed the next game in the acclaimed Battlefield franchise. A highly-promoted reveal eventually led to the announcement of Battlefield 1, a title that is set to bring the shooter series into a World War I-era setting....

Despite some initial controversy surrounding its reveal trailer, Battlefield V appears to be enjoying a mostly positive reception so far. After DICE gave its final word on Battlefield V’s female soldiers, the developer has been working hard to give both fans and non-fans reasons to look forward to the next entry into the Battlefield series. Ever since the game’s official reveal, both EA and DICE have been talking at length about what Battlefield V will not have....

Behaviour Interactive has revealed some work in progress revisions for the updated HUD for Dead by Daylight and is said to still be in the process of making changes that will become available through an upcoming patch. Back in January 2021, Behaviour Interactive announced that its 4v1 multiplayer horror would be receiving an updated HUD that’s being rebuilt from the ground up. Since that announcement, the community has shared feedback on the new layout and said feedback has been taken on board....

Behavior Interactive will soon be beefing up The Trickster, the newest Killer in Dead by Daylight. Bugfix Patch 4.6.1 will buff him in several ways, mostly relating to movement speed, special ability animation, and better control of his knives. The first biggest change relates directly to movement speed while throwing knives. Currently his movement speed drops to 2.68m/s, making him slower than Survivors and easily outmaneuvered during a chase. For a Killer like The Huntress, this is not as big of a deal because each of her hits result in a complete change in health state, whereas The Trickster needs multiple hits to accomplish the same goal....

For the past few weeks, BioWare has been teasing the announcement of a new game through a series of cryptic teaser trailers. Each piece of footage featured three common elements: ordinary protagonists, extraordinary events, and shadowy figures. Build and Discover: America - an upcoming country building simulator - has been announced, allowing players to rebuild the United States from a newly discovered continent into an expansive, hopefully thriving country. Coming from Angry Bulls Studio, Build and Discover: America is compared to a wild west Tropico, or “Anno with cowboys”, featuring a mixture of real-time strategy game genres and a country building simulation with strong economic elements. The entire game is based on the history of the United States, but that doesn’t mean you have to take the same exact same path that the country has (and, at this point, that’s probably a good thing)....
