Now that Warner Bros. has seen consistent success with its line of DC superhero movies, the future of the DCEU seems assured with a healthy slate of films on the horizon, and with the Snyder Cut of Justice League finally released into the wild, you would think it might be time to finally stop worrying about the franchise’s early missteps, notably the difficulty that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had getting out of the gate and the subsequent effect it had on Justice League....

A brand new video releases online showcasing the gun gameplay for all four character classes in DICE’s and Electronic Arts’ World War I shooter Battlefield 1. Although the Reddit user known as Lobix300 recently data mined Battlefield 1’s closed alpha test on PC, and wound up prematurely revealing loads of information for what the developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts plan on eventually including in the final version of the game, such as its weapons, maps, game modes, and more, some fans still may be craving a more in-depth look at some of the title’s assets....

As promised by DICE and Electronic Arts’ future plans from a while back, the companies have now officially made Battlefield 1’s Spring Update live and have released the free patch’s complete set of change log notes to let fans in on all of the adjustments and new features being brought to the game. In addition to the expected set of bug and glitch fixes, the developer and publisher have included the ability to initiate Platoon creation, have added the medic revival indicator, have tweaked server admin settings, and more, which can all be found in full right here....

Within the new age of gaming, where delicate ray tracing and haptic feedback is the norm, it’s refreshing to occasionally visit an old school-styled pixel game for some button bashing. One nostalgia trip comes courtesy of Sokaikan Limited and No Gravity Games’ Okinawa Rush, which emulates beat ‘em up platforming from another era. The title is currently in development but it is expected to release in the third quarter of this year....

Next year is going to be a big one for everyone’s favorite hedgehog. The Sonic the Hedgehog movie is underway, with plenty of casting news these last few months. James Marsden and Tika Sumpter will star, and Jim Carrey was recently comfirmed to be playing Dr. Robotnik, aka, Doctor Eggman. Now, the lead character, Sonic himself, has found his voice actor. In anticipation of next month’s Brazillian Independent Games (BIG) Festival - an online event that will feature indie game studios from around Brazil offering first-looks and developer panels - it was announced that at least 13 of the studios participating in the event will be showing off new content from the projects that they are working on. The latest popular battle royale, Call of Duty: Warzone, is already gaining momentum and with it a few bugs. Few games manage to engage and terrify the imaginations of its players like Bloodborne does. FromSoftware’s magnum opus creates a Gothic world, and then spins an eldritch yarn in it. And the results are spectacular, to say the least. Bosses are always a standout feature in FromSoftware games, and Bloodborne delivers in spades. The bosses in this game range from extremely skilled Hunters (like yourself) to giant deformed beasts and to monstrosities straight out of a Lovecraft book....

As far as PlayStation 4 exclusives go, every gamer has a personal favorite, but one that ranks fairly high on a lot of lists is Bloodborne. Despite being spun off from a series that is known for a high difficulty curve, Bloodborne found an audience on the PS4, and once they were done fans were clamoring for more. Although developer From Software has yet to announce when (or if) Bloodborne 2 will release, the assumption is that it will be available on the PS5....

Way back 100 years ago in June of 2020, Ziggurat Interactive had announced that it acquired the rights to the BloodRayne IP from Majesco Entertainment and would be working on remasters for modern platforms. Well, it seems we won’t need to be waiting much longer as these new enhanced ports are right around the corner. Called the “Terminal Cut,” both BloodRayne 1 and 2 will see a re-release on Steam and GOG on November 20, 2020, and come packed with a slew of modern features....

Following the highly anticipated reveal of Borderlands 3, things have not been smooth sailing for Gearbox Software, as the company has seen a number of controversies pop up in the last week. For many, the biggest one is with the timed PC exclusivity agreement on the Epic Games Store, which resulted in fans review bombing previous Borderlands games on Steam in protest. Excitement for Borderlands 3 seems to have tapered somewhat since Gearbox announced Borderlands 3 during PAX East 2019 a few weeks ago. While Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players have been enjoying the game’s new Season 1 content, a recent discovery could lead to some anger amongst the CoD community. According to several Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players, XP has been nerfed in multiple modes — though Treyarch has not yet mentioned any changes. This would not be the first time that Treyarch made a change to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War without mentioning it in patch notes, as the studio secretly nerfed the combat knife ahead of Season 1’s release....

Since its release, players have been using the bugs left in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to their advantage. Although developer Infinity Ward has been addressing these issues in its weekly updates, some, like the Gulag bug in the Warzone game mode, continue to be exploitable. However, one particular glitch has frustrated players to the point that they are calling for the developer to patch it immediately. According to player reports, the weapons that they throw and fire are disappearing in midair after they die....
