In the latest The Borderlands Show from Gearbox, Greg Miller and friends broke down the wave of upcoming new content coming to Borderlands 3. The bulk of the show was dedicated to the upcoming premium expansion, Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock. Beyond that, however, there’s free content to talk about to. Specifically, there’s the upcoming Revenge of the Cartels event set to launch in April....

Borderlands 3 has finally broken its recent silence and confirmed that an official premiere of the Krieg DLC is coming August 25th, where fans will likely get the official name, the release date, and just a tease of content. However, fans who have been paying attention to the teases for Krieg may have noticed something a little odd. Specifically, the language, teased art work, and final meditative teaser for Borderlands 3 DLC 4 all point to a similar DLC from The Pre-Sequel: the Claptastic Voyage....

The King of the Koopas has finally made his way into the first entry in the Super Smash Bros. series, as an update to the Smash Remix mod has added Bowser to the game. The roster of the original Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64 was filled with heroes, but that wasn’t always the case. Masahiro Sakurai had planned for Bowser and King Dedede to be playable in the first Smash Bros....

Producer Tomoya Asano reveals that the work-from-home mandate has had a major impact on the development of the Nintendo Switch exclusive Bravely Default 2. In an interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Asano explained how the team behind Bravely Default 2 didn’t have remote work plans finalized while the Covid-19 restrictions took place earlier in the year. Though Square Enix is now teasing that new information on Bravely Default 2 is coming soon, developer Team Asano went through some major hardships in 2020....

Fans of the free-to-play 2D brawler Brawlhalla can now look forward to a new way to challenge their friends. A short promo during the recent Ubisoft Forward showcase revealed that the colorful platform fighter will be coming to mobile devices on August 6th, 2020. The short video highlighted new fully customizable touch-screen control options that are set to be introduced with the mobile edition of the game, while reminding players that Brawlhalla will continue to support “cross-play for everyone,” as it always has....

Following a God of War 4 outing by musician Timothy Williams and his resume, we’ve seen one retailer after another seemingly slip-up and list the yet-to-be announced title for pre-order. However, despite all the retail pre-order buzz, the time window for a rumored God of War-related unveiling came and went over one month back - quieting speculation of any official reveal in the near future. That is until Sony began teasing an announcement on April 19th - while another retailer began listing God of War 4 for pre-order in-store - complete with mock-up box artwork....

Bungie has acknowledged the outcry from angry Destiny 2 fans saying that Beyond Light is devoid of new loot, but it might be another season or two before more loot arrives. Beyond Light is here, and with it comes a bunch of new Destiny 2 content and a bunch of controversy. Infinity Ward releases an update for the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare online multiplayer beta that adds Kill Confirmed as well as the new map Precinct. Unfortunately for fans of the franchise, the first day of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta was plagued with severe matchmaking issues. Now that Infinity Ward has managed to fix most of those problems, it has started rolling out new content for beta testers to try out, adding a fourth map and game mode to the experience....

With Call of Duty: WW2 taking gamers back to World War 2, it seems the folks at Sledgehammer Gamers are gearing up to give players plenty of World War 2 experiences in the game’s multiplayer. In fact, the developer revealed that it will be introducing a new multiplayer mode called “War” with World War 2. Sledgehammer Games boss Michael Condrey recently spoke with GamesRadar about Call of Duty: WW2 and described the War mode as a “series of objective-driven conflicts....

Following months of rumors, leaks, and speculation, Ubisoft has finally pulled the curtain back on the Viking-themed Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Along with the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla cinematic trailer, Ubisoft has also revealed a slew of additional details about what the upcoming game will entail, including information about its protagonist, a viking named Eivor. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will revolve entirely around Eivor and his journey in England. As Eivor, players will complete missions and tasks with the goal of establishing a viking settlement....

Avowed is the upcoming game from Obsidian Entertainment that has many Skyrim fans wondering if the studio’s new RPG could spiritually succeed The Elder Scrolls series. If the trailer is anything to go by, the new game will share many features with The Elder Scrolls from its first-person perspective to its sword-and-sorcery gameplay. Avowed will be set in the Living Lands, an ecologically diverse northern frontier in Obsidian’s world of Eora, first seen in the two Pillars of Eternity games....
