The classic space opera hero Buck Rogers is coming back, according to The Wrap. Legendary Entertainment (Godzilla: King of the Monsters) has snagged the movie rights to the 92-year-old character, with producers Don Murphy (Transformers) and Susan Montford set to steer the project through Murphy’s Angry Films production company. Buck Rogers brought sci-fi elements like ray guns, rocket ships, lasers and jet packs into popular culture, with the property’s vision of the future and emphasis on action and adventure influencing everything from Disney’s Tomorrowland attraction to George Lucas’ original concept for Star Wars....

This past week Ubisoft unveiled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the next title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. To start, Ubisoft put out a cinematic trailer introducing players to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s male protagonist. However, like with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Valhalla will feature both a man and a woman for players to choose from as their character. Now Assassin’s Creed fans have their first look at the game’s female protagonist, a Viking warrior by the name of Eivor....

It was the old school versus the new school for this year’s Madden NFL 25 cover vote. Yes, the game is technically Madden NFL 14, but in honor of the franchise’s 25th anniversary, EA Sports opted for the Madden NFL 25 moniker. 32 players battled through six rounds of online voting, but only one could reign supreme and have their visage emblazoned on EA Sports’ latest title. Only one could join the ranks of Drew Brees, Peyton Hillis, and Calvin Johnson....

WB Games Montreal has finally confirmed that it’s next game is Gotham Knights, which will see Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood face off with the Court of Owls and other baddies for the fate of Gotham City after Batman’s death. The studio made the announcement during the WB Games portion of the DC FanDome digital event. Check out the first trailer below: The Court of Owls, a shadowy owl-themed crime syndicate that controls Gotham from deep within the city’s underworld, was first introduced in 2011 during Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s run on Batman during DC Comics’ New 52 era....

DICE Los Angeles, the development team spun-off from Battlefield developer DICE, could be developing a new shooter series, suggests a job listing. EA has confirmed that Battlefield 6 will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X after 2020 but it seems like it may not be the only EA shooter for fans to get excited about. On LinkedIn, EA has posted a job listing for a lead character artist to join the team at DICE LA....
