Following the official reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, fans of the longstanding first-person shooter franchise have a lot to look forward to, such as the Blackout battle royale mode or the 3 zombie experiences at launch. Notably, though, those who are more excited about the traditional multiplayer may have just found out when they can get their hands on the game. At the time of this writing, Activision hasn’t yet officially revealed the private beta dates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, but a recent posting by GameStop Germany seemingly reveals an August time period....

One of the things that was brought back for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was the Dead Ops Arcade co-op mode. Specifically, the new third installment Dead Ops Arcade 3: Rise of the Mamaback. Now the developers will be adding another addition to Dead Ops Arcade. Yesterday, Treyarch tweeted out that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War would a receive a new game mode to Dead Ops Arcade....

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is undoubtedly a popular game, but a bug caused by a server outage is making the game look a lot more active than it is. Though this Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War problem is known about and being worked on by Activision, it comes at a frustrating time. Not only do many players set aside time on the weekends to enjoy Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but the fact that the game just recently began its second season of content makes this server outage even more untimely....

After multiple teases, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies has finally received a full gameplay trailer. The gameplay provides plenty of answers regarding the mode’s setting and core mechanics, while also showcasing a few big surprises in store for Black Ops Cold War fans. While nothing was said regarding the supposed Zombies Royale mode coming to Warzone, virtually every other question was answered regarding the game mode. The trailer showcases the main map of the game at launch, Die Maschine, which includes a graffiti-covered version of the original Call of Duty Zombies map Nacht Der Untoten....

Last March, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players were surprised to find three new maps waiting for them despite the relatively recent launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Killhouse returned as a fan favorite from the original Modern Warfare, while Al-Raab Airbase and Drainage were brand new to the Call of Duty franchise. These two maps surprised Modern Warfare players since neither Activision nor Infinity Ward had ever mentioned new maps before they suddenly appeared in-game....

Activision and developer Infinity Ward have revealed a roadmap for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone‘s Season 5 Reloaded update, and it starts with the Games of Summer event. “Following Shadow Company’s explosive arrival to Verdansk, Games of Summer will arrive to challenge all Operators on their skills,” reads a post on the Activision blog. “Only the most talented will be rewarded with the spoils of the games; the prospect of which has invited a new reinforcement to the Coalition’s Warcom division....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has just released a major midseason update, with exciting changes, features, nerfs, and buffs, as well as the brand new Rytek AMR sniper rifle. This weapon was leaked a short time ago, as can be seen in the clip below. What does the Rytek bring to the table that the AX-50 or HDR do not? Semi-Automatic shots, making it a nice bridge between the current sniper rifles, and the marksman rifles currently in the armory....

Infinity Ward added a new contract system in its latest patch for Call of Duty: Warzone. With these rare contracts come the opportunity to earn permanent Blueprint Rewards for players who can find and complete them. One of the biggest mysteries in Call of Duty: Warzone right now is the purpose of the bunkers that are found dotted around the battle royale map. In total, there are 11 bunkers that Call of Duty: Warzone players can find, and all of them are locked, requiring a special code to get inside. To date, no one has actually figured out what’s inside of the bunkers, but YouTuber S0ur has potentially revealed their intended purpose....

Call of Duty: Warzone fans dubbed the error the “unlimited stim pack” glitch, and many players have learned to exploit this for an easy win. Originally, the developer had patched the error, but now it seems that someone found a way around the fix. In Call of Duty: Warzone, the gas is a balancing factor, as it drives players into contained battlefields....

Sledgehammer Games says it’s working on “thematically appropriate” ways to implement Call of Duty’s robust selection of multiplayer modes in Call of Duty: WW2. That includes the popular Uplink mode, which charges two teams with scoring points via throwing or carrying a “ball” into a goal. Uplink is a great example of why this mode is challenging to bring into World War 2, as it prominently features jet pack movement and even the ball is a satellite drone....
