During this time of year, Activision and the respective developers of the Call of Duty franchise are usually gearing up to announce the next installment in the series. It’s already been confirmed that 2019 will be the 14th straight year with a new Call of Duty release, and next month’s E3 looks to set the stage in bringing the game front and center for all fans. Treyarch has officially announced its first major update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and the start of the online game’s next meta Operation. Treyarch has confirmed that those who pre-ordered their latest entry in the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, for PC via Battle.net will be able to pre-load the title early on October 9th. However, they also revealed that, initially, the title’s Blackout mode will have its framerate capped at 120fps on launch. In an age where low framerates are enough to have certain players swear off some games, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 having its framerate deliberately capped could potentially generate some blow-back, though it still remains as one of the most anticipated games of the month....

Even though many players are resorting to methods that allow them to get six, or even nine, players into one destination zone to complete Escalation Protocol each week, Bungie says the mode was not tuned to need that many players to complete it....
