Sony has announced the selection of free games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers for August 2020 and it certainly is a strange mix. The launch of Fall Guys is getting paired with Modern Warfare 2 Remastered and I’m not sure what committee got together to decide that. Both games are certainly worth your time, but I imagine that there isn’t much crossover here. Anyone that’s interested in Fall Guys likely isn’t going to be playing a 10-year-old Call of Duty game....

The single player campaign trailer for EA DICE’s upcoming shooter, Battlefield 1, is now available to watch and contains 2 minutes of World War I “adventure.” With Battlefield 1’s launch date less than a month away, fans have been hungering for even a morsel of the game’s single player campaign. That morsel was provided by EA DICE yesterday, when the company released a teaser for a trailer showcasing its campaign. DICE is getting ahead of the expected wave of Gamescom news this week, announcing the Battlefield 5 open beta dates before the opening of the Cologne-based gaming event. The open beta will kick off on September 4, 2018 for EA Access, Origin Access, and fans who pre-ordered the title, with the general public invited to hop in on September 6, 2018.
