The last reported sales figures for Batman: Arkham City — the second game in the Batman: Arkham series — came out over eight years ago, and it stated that the game generated a little over four and a half million dollars within its first week. Within its first four months of release, the game sold over six million units, meaning it generated around 360 million dollars within that time. A more recent report of the game’s figures shows that the number of units sold doubled by the end of the year, and the revenue the game generated nearly did too....

One crucial question that needs to be addressed is, do we want a sequel? The Batman: Arkham series spans several games, which is why it might be time for a reboot. The story is becoming a convoluted mess, which is what can happen when a series runs too long. Despite having a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, Bear Simulator developer Farjay Studios is now calling it quits on the game, blaming “drama.” In 2014, one-man developer Farjay Studios (John Farjay) took to Kickstarter to gain support and funding for Bear Simulator.
