Another major patch for Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, has been delivered, making major fixes to some of the game’s most egregious bugs. According to the Warzone patch’s notes, the focus for the most recent patch is one specific reason. That being to correct a bug making weapon models corrupted on players screens, making Warzone difficult if not impossible to play. Of course, there are many more bug fixes beyond that for Warzone players to look forward to....

One of the most controversial aspects of Call of Duty: Warzone since launch has been its vehicles. Many fans have complained that Call of Duty: Warzone vehicles are overpowered in their current state, but now it seems that they may be even deadlier than before. A new buff given to the trophy system tool in Call of Duty: Warzone is making it more difficult for players to destroy any vehicles that are trying to run them down....

It looks like the rebooting of the greatest Call of Duty games is fully underway, as we got a very brief, very cool teaser for Call of Duty Cold War during a game on Warzone. While messing around on the map, players found what appears to be an intentional glitch telling us to “know your history.” The glitch appeared during a match of Warzone in which players can be seen driving a jeep across the map....

Since the announcement, Obsidian’s new fantasy RPG Avowed was considered by many as an answer to Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls games. It may not be the case after all, as Xbox boss now says the titles are “very different.” Unsurprisingly, Avowed missed E3 this year, so we still know very little about the upcoming title set in Pillars of Eternity world of Eora. Avowed is an epic first-person role-playing game, which will feature an in-depth magic system and a large open-world in a fantasy setting....

When toy company Mattel announced in 2009 that they had signed a deal with Universal Pictures to make a movie about Barbie, most film fans rolled their eyes. Sure, Jodie Benson and Michael Keaton would make a great Barbie and Ken in Toy Story 3 the following year, but most couldn’t imagine how a doll known for cycling through careers and clothes would make for a cinematic experience. Director Scott Derrickson shared a clip he filmed of actor Benedict Cumberbatch paying a quick visit to a Manhattan comic book store during a break in filming the 2016 Doctor Strange movie. The clip shows Cumberbatch entering the store in full costume as the Sorcerer Surpreme himself greeting staff and posing for pictures. Scott Derrickson shared the ’never before seen moment’ via his Twitter feed. Filmed during production of the first Doctor Strange Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, the surprise visit goes exactly how one might expect when comic fans come face to face with one of their heroes....

Pathfinder mains in Apex Legends are certainly used to traveling faster and higher than most of the other playable characters in Respawn’s battle royale game, but Reddit user bentrolei seemed to teleport into the air after accessing a survey beacon in a video posted to the game’s official subreddit last week. Jokingly titled “Pathfinder’s beacon scan is OP,” viewers can see in the video that the player travels from one side of the circle to the other, unintentionally zipping from the Fragment West region of Apex Legends’ World’s Edge map to Fragment East, and far away from their partner playing as Bangalore....

August 11th saw a new patch come to Modern Warfare and Warzone, and with it four weapons were given brand new balance updates – either through buffs, nerfs, or both. While Infinity Ward did warn us that there would be some adjustments made to weapons, they never told us which weapons they would be or what changes we could expect until the patch went live.
