The latest shooter on the market, Call of Duty: WW2 has been out for almost a week now and, as usual, the game’s dedicated fan-base has already been hard at work in the popular multiplayer game modes. Having had a little time to explore the many weapons of the historical Call of Duty, some of the more observant players have noticed a handful of guns which might be the best choice for soldiers to take with them when heading into the brutal combat of the Second World War....

Call of Duty: Warzone‘s surprising (but much-needed) Season 2 Reloaded update includes quite a few weapon additions, buffs, and nerfs that once again have players scrambling to find the absolute best guns in the game. Larian Studios announced today that Baldur’s Gate III will be entering early access in August…maybe. The news comes from a community update that premiered during the Guerilla Collective online game festival this morning. The video was part-trailer part-developer vlog. Larian Studios (Divinity: Original Sin 2) founder Swen Vincke explained that the studio has been impacted by the Covid-19 health crisis. The toy company Banpresto have created a ’loot box’ containing Kirby products that were previously only available through Japanese lotteries. The company recently announced the release of the Premium Bandai Box that will feature several exclusive Kirby items. What was once only obtainable in Japan will now be up for grabs worldwide. The toy company will offer multiple Kirby products within the Bandai merch box that will also feature a new 4....

Ben Affleck just gave one of the best performances of his career. Treyarch appears to have responded to an early Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s post-launch controversy in response to community backlash. Reddit user soja92 reports that the Black Ops 4 multiplayer server-to-client tick rate has been upgraded from 20hz to 30hz, an unlisted detail in the October 23 patch notes. The faster communication between server and client will result in a crisper and more accurate Black Ops 4 multiplayer experience that will hopefully be quite apparent to dedicated players....

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has shut down production temporarily, according to THR. The reason for the shutdown is to allow star Letitia Wright, who plays T’Challa’s sister Shuri, more time to recuperate from an injury she sustained on the set two months ago in Boston. Wright’s injury, which reportedly happened while she was shooting a stunt, is said to be more severe than first indicated. After Wright was injured, she returned home to London as Wakanda Forever continued filming, mostly at Marvel’s main production hub in Atlanta....

Early in 2019, Activision Blizzard reportedly laid off more than 800 employees, 8% of its workforce. CEO Bobby Kotick described the layoffs as part of a consolidation and restructuring effort due to missed expectations in 2019 and lowered expectations in 2019. Kotick made the announcement shortly after confirming that Activision Blizzard had “achieved record results in 2018” amounting to $7.5 Billion in sales and $1.8 Billion profit. The layoffs were controversial, to say the least, and said controversy appears to continue even now....

Bob Ross, the famous painter who entertained million on public television throughout the ’80s, lives on today thanks to his show The Joy of Painting, which regularly gets more viewers on Twitch than actual streamers. And now he’s going to be in Magic: The Gathering. But not Bob Ross the character, although that’d be awesome. No, Wizards wanted Bob Ross’s paintings. Bob Ross made over 1000 paintings throughout his career, and while most of those are apparently holed up in a warehouse in Virginia (according to the New York Times), the Ross Estate agreed to partner with Wizards of the Coast to turn some of those happy little accidents into real Magic: The Gathering Cards....

Borderlands 2, in all of its cel shaded and co-op RPG glory is coming and the Game Rant crew couldn’t be happier.
