However, with Skyrim approaching its 10-year anniversary, Obsidian Entertainment will need to do more than emulate Bethesda’s successful series if it’s going to step out from its shadow and create an experience that feels genuinely next-generation. Two major players in the video game business, SEGA of America and Blizzard, have taken it upon themselves to provide separate acts of charity to excellent causes, remembering that there are still kids out there who might not be able to enjoy video games. Speaking of the box art, though, it appears as if a fresh Twitch channel for Borderlands set up by 2K Games and Gearbox Software hosts an altered version of the third numbered game’s cover, and it contains a secret message potentially hinting at a returning boss from the first installment in the series....

After 15 years of following the adventures of Naruto Uzumaki and the ninjas of his world, Masashi Kishimoto finished the last chapter and handed the torch to Mikio Ikemoto and Ukyō Kodachi. They in turn created a manga following the adventures of Boruto, Naruto’s son. While Masashi Kishimoto agreed to oversee the production, he has given the creators freedom to let loose and have fun with it. Bully 2 concept art leaks online, appearing to show several characters and locations that will feature in the schoolyard sequel. The leak follows longstanding rumors that Bully 2 is in the works at Rockstar Games. On Twitter an anonymous leaker has begun to post different pieces of concept art, purportedly for Bully 2. The art details several characters, including “Abe” who lives in the woods with a lot of guns and is also said to be “psychotic....

Bungie has sort of become synonymous with its flagship game, Destiny. But no game lasts forever, and every developer has got to have some great big idea to replace their current big idea when it eventually starts to fade. The way Bungie generates those big ideas seems pretty outside the box, and they’ve been doing it for the past three years. That’s according to Bungie CEO Pete Parsons, who recently sat down with Metro for a wide-ranging interview discussing everything from how great Destiny is at keeping friends together during lockdown to Bungie’s split with previous publisher Activision....
