Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War developer Treyarch has discussed plenty of features that are coming to the game’s Zombies mode, with many fan-requested improvements on the way to the game. From cross-play and cross-gen Zombies support to free maps and battle pass rewards, Treyarch has clearly listened to many fan complaints from the previous version of the mode. With even an FOV slider and ping system coming to the game, all bases seem to be covered and the groundwork seems to be laid for a solid year of Call of Duty Zombies content....

Call of Duty: Warzone has officially launched, and you’ll want to familiarize yourself with some changes before you make the drop into Verdansk. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare veterans are going to need to relearn some of the core game-play dynamics with the most recent release of Activision’s spin on the classic battle royale game-mode: Warzone. Among the changes to loot, weapon attachments and perks is the addition of armor to players when they drop into the gigantic new map....

Not content with people engaging with augmented reality through their smartphone screens to play video games or through AR glasses, two companies have entered into a working relationship to develop the world’s very first-ever augmented reality contact lenses. California-based Mojo Vision has teamed up with Menicon, not only Japan’s largest but also oldest contact lenses manufacturer. Together the companies will be working to help make AR contact lenses a reality. Mojo Vision has already developed prototypes of the contact lenses that would allow people to overlay images on top of what they see in the real world, much like how a gamer recently used AR to showcase the size difference between the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X....

After nearly a full year of delays, Batman: Arkham Knight is finally here. Gamers are able to hunt down new Riddler trophies, zoom around the streets in the Batmobile, or soar over skyscrapers in Gotham. Despite an enormous budget and plenty of pre-order cash flowing in, the game has launched with a few major problems. Although the main technical issue has been that the game is nearly unplayable on many PCs there are some narrative and character problems, as well....

It has been five years since Rocksteady released Batman: Arkham Knight, and the studio is still “releasing” new Batman skins for the game. A free update adds two new skins, the “Anime Batman Skin” and the “Zur-En-Arrh Skin,” to the Caped Crusader’s wardrobe of costumes. Both of the skins were technically already available in Arkham Knight, but were only accessible to players who logged onto the game’s official forums using a linked WB Games ID....

Some Battlefield 1 players claim they were banned for being too good at the game after running afoul of the title’s FairFight cheating detection system.
