Last week, Bethesda gave fans a view of the updates to come in the months following the Wastelanders DLC for Fallout 76. Like most Fallout 76 updates, this roadmap immediately sparked complaints about monetization and pay-to-win tactics. Unlike most complaints, however, these were based on a misunderstanding of Bethesda’s wording. Bethesda’s roadmap establishes three seasons with new updates in each season. The updates are accompanied by a reward track that replaces the current daily challenge system....

Blizzard announced the pricing structure for the Burning Crusade last week, and while players were mostly expecting the large price tags for character boosting and collectible packages, they weren’t expecting the character cloning feature to cost nearly as much as it did. Before the Burning Crusade arrives in World of Warcraft Classic in June, players will have a choice. They can either upgrade their current character to the Burning Crusade free of charge, or they can remain on the Classic Era server....

Although many fans are waiting to see if Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has its own battle royale mode, the title does have two larger-scale modes in the works for this year. At the multiplayer preview event this week, Game Rant was able to go hands-on with two separate modes, one that supports 20 total players and one that supports 40. Infinity Ward explained that thanks to the new graphics engine, the development team is able to design multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare that support a variety of team sizes....

Call of Duty: Warzone added music tracks as part of its Season 6 update. These tracks allow players to pick from a small selection of music to rock out to as they drive across Verdansk’s massive map. As with many features in Call of Duty: Warzone, a small bug has occurred as a result of the music use. Atlus has officially confirmed that the long-awaited Persona 5 sequel, Persona 5 Strikers, can be played on the PlayStation 5. Persona 5 Strikers is an upcoming JRPG from Atlus and Koei Tecmo that continues the story of the former’s megahit Persona 5. The game was initially released in Japan back in February 2020–under the original title Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers–and has recently been announced to receive its Western debut this upcoming February 2021....
