While the ongoing drama regarding Borderlands 3’s replacement of Rhys voice actor Troy Baker has been on display publicly for some time, a second replacement has only just garnered attention. With the debut of Borderlands 3’s first gameplay, franchise fans noticed that mascot Claptrap’s voice had also gone through a change. When approached on Twitter, Claptrap’s original voice actor confirmed that Gearbox moved forward with someone different. The reasons why may be more complicated than they seem....

One of Borderlands 3’s major updates and Director’s Cut add-on was originally planned to release on March 18, 2021. However, due to severe weather conditions in Texas, Gearbox Software tweeted on March 11, that the Director’s Cut for Borderlands 3 has been delayed until April 8, 2021… which has now passed. Speaking of this Director’s Cut, it has been rated for Nintendo Switch, scheduled to launch yesterday. According to the PEGI official website, Borderlands 3: Director’s Cut page now shows a rating for the Nintendo Switch console as well with a release date of April 8, 2021, along with other consoles, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC....

A new episode of The Borderlands Show just dropped, revealing new information about the Director’s Cut Season Pass of Borderlands 3. As part of the content of the Director’s Cut, players will get new skins together and new heads to customize their characters, featuring the appearance of some of the enemies in the game. Last November, the first part of the Season Pass, Borderlands 3: Designer’s Cut, was released. The add-on includes a new Skill Tree for every Vault Hunter and, most notoriously, Borderland’s new multiplayer game mode titled Arms Race, in which players attempt to loot as much as possible starting from scratch, meaning no previously owned weapons or skills have been unlocked and the chances of dying are increased drastically....

According to a leak, Borderland: Game Of The Year Edition might be on its way to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The Borderlands series has lied dormant for quite some time. Fans of the looter shooter (or “shlooter”) series haven’t had much to do since the release of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Anyone who’s been wishing for Borderlands 3 to not only come out, but to even be announced may still be waiting for some time....

Season 5 of Call of Duty: Warzone promises new content will be coming to the popular free-to-play battle royale game. Based on the same engine as last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Warzone was released as a stand-alone title on consoles and PC earlier this year. It is the second time the series has seen a battle royale mode, starting with the Blackout mode included with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4....

Since launch, one of the most controversial weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone has been its rocket launcher. Many Call of Duty: Warzone players have complained about just how powerful the RPGs are in the game, especially when it comes to destroying vehicles. Infinity Ward had intended on nerfing the RPGs in response, but it seems as though one of the recent updates to Warzone actually buffed them instead. This is according to research done by TheXclusiveAce, who determined that Infinity Ward secretly buffed the Warzone RPG in a recent update....

Another large patch has been released for Black Desert Mobile today, adding in a brand new region alongside some new events and bugfixes. West Valencia is the star of the update, adapting part of the large desert region from Black Desert Online.
