Activision confirms that PS3 gamers will soon be able to access the Awakening Map Pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. No news for Xbox 360 gamers, though. Those playing Call of Duty: Back Ops 3 on a PlayStation 3 will finally be getting some new content next week, with the long-awaited arrival of the Awakening DLC. It was originally reported that the Black Ops 3 map pack wouldn’t be coming to previous generation consoles, but Activision is evidently happy to keep the good times rolling....

When it comes to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, so far all the focus has been on the campaign and multiplayer, but fans recently got their first glimpse at the Zombies mode as well. At the end of the Black Ops Cold War multiplayer reveal trailer, Treyarch showcased a few seconds of the game’s Zombies mode, giving an idea of what fans can expect from the mode tonally. While the Black Ops Cold War Zombies mode tease seems bereft of details, there is one important reveal that may have gone unnoticed by most fans....

Lo-Fi People has revealed that its upcoming audio-based comedy-thriller Blind Drive will be launching for PC, iOS, and Android on March 10. To celebrate the announcement, a new demo is available for download during the Steam Game Festival. Blind Drive is probably the strangest game yet to be shown off in 2021. You’ll take control of a kidnapped driver who has been blindfolded and is guided down the road by a mysterious voice....

Some interesting data concerning Borderlands 3 has been making the rounds lately. According to this data, Gearbox kept a constant stream of buffs flowing into the game since its 2019 release, while issuing a lot fewer nerfs. In fact, nerfs were administered about 10.4 percent of the time, while buffs were added around 89.6 percent of the time. Borderlands 3 wasn’t perfect by any means, but it did keep a constant string of patches and hot fixes that aimed at ensuring a balance of difficulty was maintained....

With a release date now set for February 26, 2021, Square Enix has recently released a demo of Bravely Default 2, the newest installment in the Bravely Default series. Despite being the third entry in the series, producer Tomoya Asano stated that the second game, Bravely Second, didn’t live up to fan expectations and the team decided to start fresh. Switching platforms for the first time in series history (obviously due to technology moving forward), Bravely Default 2 will appear on the Nintendo Switch instead of the Nintendo 3DS....

FunPlus Phoenix forfeited their match against Orgless as Astralis confirms the signing of Patrick “es3tag” Hansen to their roster. Earlier this month, FunPlus Phoenix made waves in the CS:GO community when they became a founding member of Flashpoint by acquiring Heroic’s roster. Apparently, the deal was never set in stone and now, es3tag, one of the members acquired by FunPlus Phoenix, has left the team and signed with Astralis. This signing leaves the potential for the entire FunPlus Phoenix-Heroic deal to fall apart, leaving FunPlus Phoenix’s future in Flashpoint up in the air....

Now it seems even United States senator Bernie Sanders may get in on the Minecraft phenomenon, as a new TikTok video promises that he will learn how to play the game on one condition. Last week, the PlayStation Store hosted a Black Friday sale, which offered steep discounts on PS4 and PS5 games.
