Marvel has an enormous host of villains to pull from across its incredibly extensive history. However, select few other villains from Marvel’s comic book titles and releases stand out quite as much as the villain MODOK. Marvel’s MODOK stands out among the rest as the villain that is essentially just a massive human head controlling a floating chair. It turns out the now-canceled Marvel New Warriors TV show was going to feature the first portrayal of a live-action MODOK by none other than Keith David....

The Atelier Ryza series has now shipped over 1 million copies worldwide, according to Koei Tecmo. The publisher has also announced that a new costume will be coming to both games to celebrate this huge milestone. Koei Tecmo broke the news with a celebratory piece of artwork that has Ryza jumping for joy on social media. The costume itself doesn’t have a release date right now, so expect news on this in the coming months alongside other pieces of downloadable content....

Back in late 2019, a Nintendo Direct revealed to the world that Axiom Verge 2 was in development. The trailer for the game boldly claimed that Axiom Verge 2 was going to release during fall 2020, but that is no longer the case. Ultimately, fans of Axiom Verge will have to wait until the first half of 2021 to get their hands on the sequel. There are a number of games coming out for the Nintendo Switch in 2020, but Axiom Verge 2 will no longer be one of them....

DC Comics and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment officially announce a new release date and side-by-side graphics comparison trailer for Batman: Return to Arkham. Despite being delayed indefinitely after Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that developer Virtuos Games needed more time to get development work done, it seems as if Batman: Return to Arkham is now set to step out of the shadows and finally reveal itself to the world. As a matter of fact, just today, DC Comics and the aforementioned game publisher have announced that the remastered package of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City is currently set to come out on October 18, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One....

Good news for Canadian gamers (cagamers?) the PS5 will be available at Best Buy starting next week, November 12. PlayStation fans will find the advert in the weekly flyer, available on Best Buy’s website. Unfortunately, the offer is online-only, meaning anyone hoping to get their hands on the new console come launch day will still be out of luck. The PS5 pre-order situation was pretty rocky, to put it mildly. When Sony revealed the price and release date of the PS5 on September 16, the video presentation neglected to mention when pre-orders would be starting — despite promises that players would have plenty for notice before pre-orders began....

Ken Levine, creator of the wildly successful BioShock franchise, announces plans to direct an interactive film version of the classic sci-fi series, The Twilight Zone. During a recent interview with the technology news outlet Wired, BioShock’s director Ken Levine revealed that he will be writing and directing an interactive live-action movie inspired by the original science fiction television series The Twilight Zone. According to the discussion with the BioShock director, the forthcoming film project will not be the debut from his new studio, but with the undertaking, Levine is intent to “explore the spaces between movies and games....

Black Desert Mobile is giving end-game players a new challenge to overcome with the addition of Hadum Boss Rush, a difficult twist on the classic boss-battling formula. The rewards are great for overcoming the odds, however, as there’s a chance you’ll walk with Primal Gear. To tackle the new content, you’ll need to complete a few odds and ends. Black Desert Online is changing hands later this year, as Pearl Abyss assumes responsibility for the North American and European servers from Kakao Games. If you don’t sign up for a transfer before May 31, your entire account will be deleted. However, transfer your account before February 24 and you’ll receive free Cron Stones, Crystal Shards, and more. Anyone who transfers their Black Desert Online account before this Wednesday will receive a bunch of free in-game items....

Another Arrowverse show is winding down, according to the CW. It has been revealed that season 4 of Black Lightning will be the show’s last with no official word on why it wasn’t renewed. This is despite the fact that the Arrowverse, a shared universe that houses several DC TV shows, has been making some big waves lately with events like Crisis On Infinite Earths and a Black Lightning spin-off already in the works....

Bloodborne is one of FromSoftware’s best titles, and that’s an opinion held by most of the Soulslike fanbase. There’s just something about how incredibly creepy and otherworldly all the designs and mechanics in Bloodborne are, especially the bosses. But fans forget about the Chalice Dungeon aspect of the game a lot of the time, which is a shame considering it also has a ton of unique bosses exclusive to it....

After over 50 years of only seeing a Japanese printing, classic manga series Bomba! Is getting an English translation. Kodansha Limited announced the new translation in a recent Kodansha Live! Broadcast on YouTube. The manga was originally written by Osamu Tezuka, the famous manga artist who also did Astro Boy, Kimba the White Lion, Dororo, and many more. Bomba! Tells the story of Satoshi Otani, an introverted junior high school student who has an intense crush on one of his teachers, Reiko Mizushima....

Like so many others, my biggest hang up with Breath of the Wild has been the weapon degradation system—that, and the fact that even with very poor health, my grandma can likely sprint for longer than Link can. Recently, I’ve gone back to the game in an attempt to give it a second chance, doing everything in my power not to give up because I’m constantly having to chuck my useless, broken weapons at things....

Today, Gearbox Publishing and People Can Fly have officially released a story trailer for Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition, with the fresh video featuring none other than the likes of first-person shooter icon Duke Nukem. Fans of the original Bulletstorm should feel a forceful wave of nostalgia wash over them after watching the footage, as it provides a rundown of the existing plot, albeit with newly enhanced graphics. Of course, as seen at the end of the Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition trailer below, while the story from initial title will remain intact, the incorporation of Duke Nukem is a complete first for the franchise....

It’s been almost a year since Destiny launched across numerous platforms on September 9th, 2014. The game was the subject of an immense amount of pre-release hype, with fans of Bungie clamoring to see the studio’s first non-Halo game in over a decade. That popularity has yet to waver, as Destiny is more popular than ever, recently surpassing a milestone of 20 million players. Bungie has been able to keep players interested in Destiny in a couple of ways....
