As COVID-19 cases and death rates dropped in Hong Kong, the government decided to begin reopening theaters on May 8. Films available for viewing in cinemas will cover a mixture of old and new titles, including re-releases of big-screen hits such as Christopher Nolan’s Batman: The Dark Knight Trilogy. Batman Begins, the first film in the trilogy, will make its appearance on June 4; The Dark Knight will return on June 11; and The Dark Knight Rises will be available starting June 18....

After a day of exclusive access for Battlefield Insiders, the open beta for DICE’s upcoming shooter Battlefield 1 is now available for everyone on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. DICE’s highly-anticipated shooter Battlefield 1 doesn’t come out until late October, but thanks to a planned open beta, fans can get an early taste of the game’s World War I era combat. After 26 years of silence, the Battletoads are springing back into action. Announced via Xbox Wire this morning, Microsoft has confirmed that its long-awaited reboot of Rare’s one massive series will be hitting Xbox One and PC on August 20, 2020. You’ll be able to grab it from the Microsoft Store or Steam and if you’re unsure, you can even try it on Game Pass. Bloodborne is often hailed as one of the greats of the PS4 era, and this respect is clearly demonstrated by it landing a spot on the PS Plus collection. Despite the almost universal love for this title, it definitely has some flaws that haven’t gone unnoticed. One of the most jarring flaws involves its framerate, which traditionally is capped at 30 FPS on the PS4 and PS4 Pro. Fans expected to see this cap increase to 60 FPS when playing on the PS5 thanks to its increased processing power, but the PS Plus collection proved that this wouldn’t be the case....

Zane, the trash-talking Operative, is one of Borderlands 3’s most underrated Vault Hunters. Since launch, Gearbox has shown a ton of love for the third Flynt brother by buffing many of his skills, making him an extremely versatile character to play as, with a ton of build potential. With the new Designer’s Cut, a new skill tree was added for each of the four Vault Hunters. Zane’s new skill tree, The Professional, gives Zane a shoulder cannon that specializes in critical hits....

Fans of Borderlands 3 are in for a treat this week with the arrival of DLC 2 known as Love, Guns, and Tentacles. The new content continues the tradition established in Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot by introducing classic characters in a new way, with Gaige the Mechromancer acting as a wedding planner for the grooms. However, the upcoming expansion isn’t the only content planned for the next couple of months as Gearbox Software has revealed even more new details for the near future of the game....

A well-known franchise among gamers is Borderlands, and now there has been news that a movie adaptation is being created. It has become popular in recent years as other franchises such as Assassin’s Creed and Monster Hunter have gone on to create their own successful films. Hopefully, the live-action Borderlands movie will blow those away in terms of creativity and story, especially with their roster of such colorful characters. Not much is known about the new movie, but some information has begun to be filtered out to the media....

Borderlands remastered makes some changes when compared to the original Borderlands, like adding a mini-map and tweaking the final boss fight to make it more involving and less of a bullet-sponge. While these changes and the upgrade to 4k graphics will no doubt be appreciated by fans, there was one change that many were hoping wasn’t made to Borderlands remastered, and that was removing the armory glitch. Luckily, it’s still possible to do the armory glitch in Borderlands remastered, though it’s not quite the same as veterans of the original may remember....

Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game looked promising.
