The SX260 HS has got almost everything right. Image quality is among the best in its class and is only slightly marred by colour fringing. Overall performance is quick off the mark, though could do with the addition of a touchscreen and some more versatile focusing options. But there’s little else to criticise: this is a well-designed, easy to use point-and-shoot travel lens that, at least for a Canon, is competitively priced too.
