Warzone’s Bunkers can now be accessed by players, but one of the twelve is unlike the others. What exactly is going on with Bunker 11?
Ever since Warzone launched back in March, players have discovered bunker entrances dotted all over the map. Up until a few days ago, the problem with these bunkers is that they were inaccessible. Just as most players resigned the locations to being nothing more than window dressing, Warzone’s latest update has allowed players to access the bunkers and retrieve the plentiful loot inside.
Most of the bunkers require a Red Access Card in order to gain entry. We say “most” because there is one that is a little trickier to gain access to. No amount of Red Access Cards will allow players to get inside the infamous Bunker 11. There is a way in, but only the most dedicated of players will be able to get it done.
It first requires players to find one of Warzone’s activation phones. When answered, there will be a voice speaking in Russian. That voice will say three numbers right at the end of the message which represent three red phones on the map. Those phones must then be visited in the order that the Russian voice says them on the phone. Then, and only then, will Bunker 11, which is north of the Arklov Peak Military Base, open.
That’s a lot of work to get done during one round of Warzone, especially since a regular round of battle royale will continue around you. Plus, the locations of the phones are randomized at the end of each match so remembering them isn’t going to be any good. Regardless, it is well worth it for anyone who can get it done. Not just for the rare loot inside, but also for some of the secrets uncovered within.
Pushing a button inside the bunker reveals a nuclear warhead. Players are unable to do anything more than look at the terrifying weapon, but it could be a sign of what’s to come this Call of Duty season. There’s also a server room within that can’t be found in any of the other bunkers, and a set of MP7 blueprints. If none of that excites you, then the weapons, items, cash, and upgrades that can be found within surely will.
