As Season Four continues players continue to test out everything from new builds to sweet new rides as the mayhem within Verdansk intensifies. Three new forms of weaponry join the ranks alongside a new fast-paced motorcycle, which doesn’t have the best handling but will definitely get you out of the commotion in no time.
Additionally, satellites have now come bearing down on Verdansk, bringing some highly valuable loot if you are lucky enough to get your hands on them. As such, with the new season taking hold, let’s unravel all of the best new meta builds for Season Four, including the best gun attachments and loadouts, so you can be well on your way to that next glorious victory.
Warzone Season Four Submachine Guns
These are the season four choices for submachine guns and details of the best attachments.
Nail Gun
Introduced alongside the MG 82 and C58, the brand new Nail Gun has already attracted the masses by way of its incredible TTK numbers. Several downsides to utilizing this over other SMGs are its slow rate of fire, 15-round mag, and extremely limited upgradability.
Expect many players to be running this alongside a long-range weapon of choice in Solos or Duos. It does still have some viability in Trios and Quads if you can deal with the sub 20 magazine.
Cold War MP5
The MP5 from Cold War has slowly gained traction among close-range Warzone fans, especially when kitted out with the right attachments and paired with something like the newly-introduced MG 82 or the AMAX.
With the attachments listed below, you’re looking at a pretty powerful weapon that is limited only by a 231ms ADS speed and negative range percentage, which is why you offset this with something a bit more long-range.
Best Attachments:
- Stock: Raider Stock OR Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight Barrel: 9.5" Task Force Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd Drum Underbarrel: SFOD Speedgrip OR Patrol Grip Muzzle: Sound Suppressor
MAC-10
Next to the Nail Gun currently, the MAC-10 is a powerhouse in TTK numbers. Base stats for damage are 29 headshot and 24 chest and stomach at a mere 15.5m, made all the more deadly with a variety of attachments depending on your playstyle.
The added bonus of 167ms ADS and a 163ms sprint to fire time make this a swift tool for dropping foes on a dime whether from close or even medium ranges. Just make sure to have a sniper or tac rifle on hand.
- Barrel: 5.9" Task Force OR Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight Rear Grip: Speed Tape OR Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip Ammunition: STANAG 53 Rnd Drum Mag Stock: Raider Stock Muzzle: Sound Suppressor
PPSH-41
Ever since the end of Season 3, the PPSH has slowly started to build up hype and is now made its way into the ranks as an SMG meta king. It works well when paired with something like an LMG or an Assault Rifle, like the AK-47.
It won’t win you every fight, but it has some menacing numbers, main among them being a 117ms sprint to fire time and an ADS of 172ms. As with most SMGs, you’ll want to drop the sights for something a bit more user-friendly, like a 55 round drum perhaps.
- Stock: Raider Stock Barrel: 15.7" Task Force Ammunition: 55 Rnd Drum Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip Muzzle: Sound Suppressor
AK-74U
The AK-74U has become one of the most versatile SMGs of the bunch. It definitely won’t be knocking enemies from extreme distances but can be kitted in such a way that allows for both medium and short-range tactical shootouts.
It also has an insane close-range damage profile of 56 to the dome at anywhere from 18m and closer and a base bullet magazine of 30 rounds, which may not do the trick for Quads, but could be utilized as an extra attachment slot for Solo players.
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock Barrel: 10.3" Task Force Ammunition: Spetsnaz 50 Rnd Drum Rear Grip: GRU Elastic Wrap Muzzle: Sound Suppressor
Assault Rifles
These are the assault rifle choices in offer in season four.
FARA 83
Likewise included among the list of best weapons loadouts for Season 3, the FARA returns as an all-around tool for everything from close-range to long-range bouts.
At 790rpm, the FARA’s rate of fire is incredible and has a bullet velocity of 600m/s. You’ll certainly want to boost the magazine size to a hefty 60-rounder unless you’re running Solos, but with no open bolt delay, this assault rifle makes for one swift and powerful tool in Verdansk.
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Barrel: 18.7" Spetsnaz RPK Barrel Ammunition: Spetsnaz 60 Rnd Mag Rear Grip: GRU Elastic Wrap Muzzle: Suppressor
XM4
The XM4 has rekindled its aggressive nature by way of being accepted as a more close-range weapon as opposed to long-range. It has a 48 headshot damage profile, which drops down to a lowly 32 for everything else at 22m or less, but don’t let that fool you.
Toss on the Tiger Team Spotlight and Raider Stock and make this a submachine gun build paired alongside a sniper and you have yourself a relatively interesting set of firepower at your disposal.
- Optic: SUSAT Multizoom OR Stock: Raider Stock Barrel: 13.5" Task Force OR Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight Ammunition: STANAG 60 Rnd Mag Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip Or Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap Muzzle: Agency Suppressor Or Suppressor
AS VAL
The AS VAL is yet another interesting new use case that has seemingly made its way from multiplayer into the hot and heavy streets of Verdansk. Much like the XM4 and the C58, the AS VAL can be utilized in such a way that it almost becomes an SMG, which allows it a great deal of flexibility.
You’ll want to be targeting the head, though, as 30 damage to the stomach and extremities at anywhere from 32m and below is its biggest drawback.
- Laser: 5mW Laser Rear Grip: Stripped Grip Tape Ammunition: 30 Rnd Mags Underbarrel: Operator Foregrip Perk: Sleight of Hand
C58
Included among the Season Four weapons, both the C58 and the MG 82 have quickly risen to the top of the list of fan-favorite weaponry. While this isn’t exactly a long-range specialty, that doesn’t limit its use cases as most of these assault rifles can be used in place of SMGs to better diversify your weapon loadouts.
The C58 has some extremely high damage output numbers at close and medium range, specifically a 59 dome shot at 25m or less. While an optic isn’t necessary, we recommend at least trying one out for size, as it may help for those enemies who are hiding keenly behind cover.
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap OR Optic: Axial Arms 3x Barrel: 18.2" Takedown Ammunition: STANAG 55 Rnd mag Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Groza
The Groza has started popping up as a really valuable ground loot option in both Verdansk and Rebirth island at the kick-off of Season Four. While not typically at the forefront of the assault rifle category, it has slowly started to dominate on the battlefield in close-range combat scenarios, made much more deadly when saddled alongside another assault rifle for fast swapping madness.
- Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap Ammunition: Spetsnaz 60 Rnd Drum Stock: Raider Stock Muzzle: Suppressor
Cold War AK-47
Like the PPSH, the Cold War AK likewise started becoming more and more popular by the end of Season Three. While it isn’t exactly meta just yet, it works as a nice balance from the many previous close-range assault rifle SMG builds and doesn’t sacrifice recoil.
Headshot damage from 25m or more stays consistently at 51, allowing some immense breathing room, and jumps to 58 anywhere below 25m. It’s yet another great dual assault rifle combo build that could still work great alongside the AMAX or an SMG.
- Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock Optic: Microflex LED Ammunition: 45 Rnd Mag Muzzle: Suppressor
Light Machine Guns
Take a look at the light machine gun options for season four.
MG 82
While beloved by many and a new long-range favorite, the MG 82 is already among the meta weaponry of Season Four, so much so that it’s being called by many to be nerfed.
At 930rpm, the fire rate on this monster is massive and the damage profile is even more extraordinary, with headshots sitting at a 39 at 27m or less. It may not sound like much on the surface, but with 100 rounds in its base build, those shots add up, and even if you miss you’re guaranteed to be dropping foes fast no matter how far or close you are to them.
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x Barrel: 16.4" Task Force Ammunition: 125 Rnd Speed Mag Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Stoner 63
Both the Stoner and the PKM make a returning comeback for Season Four weaponry. Aside from the newly-introduced Mg 82, LMGs aren’t typically the highlight of the arsenal, as their limiting sprint times diminish their overall effectiveness. However, if you can deal with having Double Time over Cold Blooded, it’s worth a shot.
The Stoner is also a highly effective long-range tool and can be utilized best alongside an SMG or aforementioned close-range assault rifle build, like the AS VAL.
- Optic: Visiontech 2x Barrel: 21.8" Task Force Stock: Raider Pad Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
PKM
The PKM is one interesting drop in the bucket. It offers very limited damage output numbers when compared to its LMG brethren, but can still get you through a long-distance firefight with relative ease.
The only downside to using this behemoth is its 413ms ADS and 67ms open bolt delay, but you can always try to improve upon these downsides through healthy upgrades.
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Barrel: 26.9" Extended Barrel Laser: Tac Laser Underbarrel: Snatch Grip Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Tactical/Sniper Rifles
DMR-14
Although it has been nerfed to high heaven countless times, the DMR has no sooner made its return in Season Four. The high fire rate when kitted with the 17" Rapid Fire, not to mention its 98 headshot damage from 19m or beyond, makes it a wise choice for long-range bouts.
It would do nicely with the Groza or even the PPSH, as they both are fast-paced weapons and could work wonders even on Rebirth Island.
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x Barrel: 17" Rapid Fire Ammunition: Salvo 30 Rnd Mag Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Swiss K31
The Swiss has suddenly grown in popularity after it has become clear that it has little to no idle sway whatsoever, made all the more deadly with the right attachments.
At any range, it does 250 headshot damage, which drops to 180 for the chest and 104 for the stomach, highlighting the necessity to make those shots count. Don’t sleep on the Swiss K31 if you are a fan of the KAR98, as it will soon become the dominant form of sniper in Verdansk.
- Laser: SWAT 5mw Barrel: 24.9" Combat Recon Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
HDR
The HDR has made a comeback this season. It’s not as versatile as the KAR or as trustworthy as the Swiss, but it still will drop enemies from medium to long-range distances and helps to swat those pesky helicopters out of the sky.
Like both the Swiss and the ZRG, it has a 250 headshot damage, though this time at a range of 100m or less, giving it a wider berth for your firefights, especially when paired with an AMAX or Cold War MP5.
- Laser: Tac Laser Barrel: 26.9" HDR Pro Stock: FTAC Champion Underbarrel: Bipod OR Optic: Variable Zoom Scope Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
KAR98k
The KAR98k still stands as one of the most useful snipers in Verdansk. It may not have the best idle sway when compared to the Swiss, but it’s still old faithful and works wonders when you land that perfect headshot.
You could either give this FMJ for more punch or the Focus perk to ensure you land those shots, as anything aside from a headshot most probably won’t down your opponent.
- Optic: Variable Zoom Scope OR Sniper Scope Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6" Stock: STVOL Precision Comb Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor Perk: FMJ OR Focus
ZRG 20mm
The ZRG has risen to the top of the sniper class meta. Limited only by its five-round mag size, this monster of a long-range tool does wonders in the right hands.
Headshots, even below 78m, still pack a whopping 250 damage output, and the reload time of only 2.95s makes up for its limited ammo capacity. Still, it’s definitely one of the more random options to come out of the Season Four weapons game, but if you have it unlocked it’s worth trying over the overused KAR98k.
- Optic: Royal & Kross 4x Barrel: 43.9" Combat Recon Ammunition: 5 Rnd Mag Rear Grip: Serpent Grip Muzzle: Sound Moderator
