This Warzone duo coordinates a double assassination against a pair of very inattentive opponents.
Battle royale games, of which Call of Duty: Warzone is the latest and greatest iteration of, take all kinds of players. There are the high-octane players that go balls to the wall with high-speed, high-altitude chase scenes that look straight out of a Michael Bay film, and then there’s these guys who prefer a more subtle touch.
This video comes from Reddit user njh123, who stalked a pair of opponents in Warzone to perform a synchronized execution that seemed so smooth that it might’ve even been planned.
First, njh123’s pings a pair of opponents that are making a hasty retreat–so hasty that they’re not even bothering to look behind them. That proves to be a fatal mistake as njh123 activates their Dead Silence perk in order to silently stalk the duo. Their partner must have done the same, as neither opponent shows any inclination that they’re aware of their deadly stalkers.
Perhaps sensing impending doom, one of them stops right outside of a building and gives njh123 the perfect opportunity to execute them. A stab in the back, slash to the neck, and a bullet to the face later, and njh123 adds a kill to their score.
Best of all, we get to see njh123’s partner perform the tail end of their own execution at roughly the same time. Heading inside the building, we see the other enemy drop just a few seconds after njh123 executes his target.
It doesn’t look like either opponent had much in the way of loot, so this is likely either very early in the game, or these two weren’t exactly top-tier Warzone players. Probably the latter, given how easily they were both dispatched.
This video provides us with perhaps the most important lesson of Warzone: always maintain situational awareness. That means constantly searching for enemies while simultaneously checking your blind spots for tails. Hopefully, this is a lesson that njh123 taught well.
