The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare community is filled with epic compilations of assassinations, epic shots, and many other awesome acts. Whether the compilation is set to music or is filled with hundreds of different finishers, players enjoy watching these epic showdowns. The only thing better then a Modern Warfare compilation is when an assassination goes wrong.
This player worked hard to get a very specific killstreak reward when a would-be assassin decided to take advantage of their non-moving body. That horrible decision resulting in a hilarious Modern Warfare finisher fail.
The clip begins with Reddit user LawHopeful 21 firing out a window and earning their Wheelson killstreak. After carefully reloading they immediately deployed their new weapon switching to a third-person camera and giving them a clear sight of the room around them. As they orient themselves and begin to move an enemy player rushes in and begins an execution on their supposedly defenseless body. Rather than firing, they simply turn and ram the enemy saving themselves in a rather unexpected fashion.
This last-minute save might have wasted some valuable fuel, but the surprise on the enemy’s face is worth the effort. In the comments, the Reddit post author explains that this was the very first time they have used the Wheelson. They did not know how fire and decided to do the one thing they had figured out, they drove.
The rest of the match was lackluster compared to this moment. After navigating the Wheelson out of the room they were met with a mob of C4 around every corner. It is odd that the Wheelson killstreak can’t hit the player that summoned it. Although not realistic, it does make it easier for a player to defend themselves while driving the Wheelson around.
While this moment might not make it into an epic Modern Warfare assassination compilation, it teaches a valuable lesson to would-be assassins. Before beginning a finisher, it is important to make sure that the room is clear of enemies, mines, throwing knives, and now Wheelsons.
