One reason that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its battle royale counterpart Warzone are so popular is Infinity Ward’s continued support of the game. The recent mid-season update is a good example of that, as it shifted the meta quite a bit and left some Modern Warfare players scrambling for the best new guns. Either way, there’s always going to be a few bugs with this type of support, but the July 9 update did a lot to roll back some of these.

Particularly in the case of the Rytec AMR, players had been experiencing a few bugs for it. There were also some other fixes for both Modern Warfare and Warzone, and for the curious fans, here are those changes.

The Rytec AMR with explosive rounds is OP, but it had its bugs. Infinity Ward has not fixed a bug that cause it not to give the right amount of XP when using these rounds, fixed an issue where it was a one-hit kill in BR, and fixed the Fully Loaded Gun Perk, which didn’t function as intended when equipped alternate ammo. Overall, these changes should go a long way in making the most out of the new gun in both Modern Warfare and Warzone.

A few other small fixes were applied to incorrect text appearing as one of the SUV camos, a bug where counter UAV could be found in Warzone, a bug preventing players from using Field Upgrades in Free-for-All, and a bug that would allow players to go AFK in All or Nothing.

While the July 9 update doesn’t compare to the size in some of Modern Warfare’s updates, it’s still part of an eco-system of success for the game. The continued support is always appreciated, and while Infinity Ward needs to look into the ever-growing size of the game, many are just likely happy to see it going strong as it moves into season 5 next month.
