As if Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone matches were not stressful enough, players may start encountering enemies with multiple guns at their disposal. Continuing the recent string of weird and game-breaking exploits in the game, a new glitch in the game allows players to equip more than two weapons at once, and fans are not happy about it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is no stranger to bugs and glitches, with a new one nearly every week. The most recent one requires some careful buttons and a killstreak to replicate but has huge rewards. YouTuber Bubs has released a video detailing exactly how players can get unlimited guns in their backpack, provided they want to rely on exploits to perform well in the game.

The basic idea is something not new to Call of Duty, as it requires players performing two actions at once, thus confusing the game. The trick involves achieving a Shield Turret kill streak and placing it on top of where a gun is lying on the ground. The player must quickly get into the turret at the same time as they try to pick up the gun.

If the player is successful, they will hop out of the turret with a new gun on their back. This glitch can be replicated multiple times, allowing the player to have an arsenal of guns that they can then cycle through. This is useful if the player wants close and medium range weapons but also want the usefulness of a long-range gun. It is important to note that the weapons will be reset upon death.

An obvious downside to this is that it no longer becomes quick to switch between weapons, as players must now search through multiple guns to find the one they want to use. It is also difficult to do this trick with random guns found on the ground, as it will require the turret to be placed repeatedly over each gun. As with any exploit, the possibility of a future ban is also an option.

As of now, this glitch only works in Modern Warfare multiplayer and co-op campaign. It will be a race to see if it reaches Warzone before the exploit can be patched, so battle royale players may be able to avoid this glitch entirely. With the Season 5 update just around the corner, it will be interesting to see if an update arrives with the new content. Hopefully, the only thing battle royale players will have to worry about is the new loot train. Until then, best of luck to anyone encountering a walking armory in multiplayer.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
