Activision has released information about its upcoming bundle for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. The bundle has been dubbed the ‘Pyromaniac bundle’ and will feature a fire theme that is sure to light up enemies in a blaze of fury. This news comes alongside other updates and content releases that continue to add variety and flair to the most recent Call of Duty release.

This reveal originates from the Activision blog where the publisher gives a look at upcoming content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The reveal is in preparation for the April 28th update which will have several updates Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. The Activision blog also reveals upcoming news for Call of Duty: Mobile, Black Ops 4, and upcoming esports events.

Bundles in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare give players a chance to diversify their appearance and personalize weapon appearances. So far, these bundles have been popular among the game’s community, with each providing skins, weapons, stickers, or more depending on the theme. Call of Duty bundles have been around long enough to become a natural part of the game experience. New content is released weekly, providing an every changing cosmetic atmosphere within the popular shooter.

The “Pyromaniac bundle” will have a fire theme and includes a Legendary ‘Firestarter’ skin for Krueger. Blueprint fans will be happy to see the appearance of the fiery Calera Legendary blueprint which will upgrade the already popular SMG. The bundle also includes flaming Throwing Knives to swap out their standard lethal equipment and add fire to the already lethal weapon. A new Finishing Move is also included within this bundle and more that will be revealed upon the bundle’s release to the in-game store.

To purchase the bundle players must first purchase CoD points from the in-game store. CoD Points start at $2.99 for 200 and slowly scale with price depending on quantity. As with other in-game stores, purchasing a higher quantity cost less per point. Bundles are then available for CoD points within the in-game store. Skins, Finishing Moves, and other bundle contents are available in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Infinity Ward has done a great job so far mixing paid content with free content. By balancing between items that players would pay money for and gifts they appreciate, Infinity Ward has so far received no backlash for in-game purchases. Some fans feel that prices are fair and the contents are worth the purchase while others simply pay no attention to the constant flow of content. Although the developers are adding tons of cosmetic options, fans are still waiting on fixes for plenty of bugs, server issues, and other complaints that are building up slowly in the background.
