The CARV.2 tactical rifle has arrived in Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone and there are plenty of ways to unlock the popular weapon.
This guide will break down how to unlock the CARV.2 in Warzone, Cold War multiplayer, and Zombies.
How To Unlock The CARV.2 In Warzone And Multiplayer
If you play Call of Duty’s competitive modes, then you will be eager to unlock the CARV.2 whilst playing these modes. The challenge to unlock the CARV.2 is the same in both modes, but you only need to complete it once to unlock the new tactical rifle on your account.
To unlock The CARV.2 in Multiplayer and Warzone, you must rapidly kill two or more players in 10 different matches using tactical rifles.
The easiest way to complete this challenge is in Cold War multiplayer, so if you have access to the latest title in the franchise, a few matches of team deathmatch should give you chance to breeze through this task.
If you only play Warzone, this challenge is going to be more difficult. Attempt to get your double kills in Plunder or on Rebirth Island, as you will be able to respawn frequently. Since Plunder allows you to spawn in with your loadout, this is the best mode that you can play to unlock the CARV.2 quickly in Warzone.
How To Unlock The CARV.2 In Zombies
For those that prefer Zombies, there is also a challenge that you can complete to unlock the CARV.2. Completing the Zombies challenge will permanently unlock the CARV.2 for your account, so you won’t need to complete the Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer/Warzone challenge as well.
To unlock the CARV.2 in Zombies, you need to get 250 Longshot kills with a tactical rifle. Thanks to the large maps, Outbreak will be the easiest mode to complete this challenge in. On each of Outbreak’s maps, there are high points that you can climb. Get to a high vantage point and use a tactical rifle to shoot down at zombies to get plenty of longshot kills.
If you would rather play traditional Zombies maps, you could complete the CARV.2 challenge on Firebase Z. On this map, you will occasionally need to defend positions from legions of zombies. As they spawn in far away, you can quickly shoot down at them with a tactical rifle and net some longshot kills before they reach your position.
