Activision has partnered with BURST Oral Care to create a new limited-edition toothbrush inspired by Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The toothbrush comes with a stylish camo print and proceeds from its sales will go towards the Call of Duty Endowment. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is only the most recent title to take part in promoting the Endowment project with some type of fundraising endeavor.

Call of Duty and dental hygiene do not seem to have much in common, but a portion of the proceeds earned through the toothbrush sale will help veterans find jobs. This is a unique collaboration that both promotes the upcoming title and goes towards one of Activision’s most active charity initiatives.

The partnership between BURST Oral Care and Call of Duty Endowment starts with a minimum pledge of $100,000. This money will help around 200 veterans find suitable jobs in the US workforce. Activision has promised 20% of all purchases towards funding their efforts in placing veterans in high-quality careers. Since its creation, the Call of Duty Endowment has found jobs for more than 70,000 veterans with the hope that many more can benefit from the charity of the dedicated Call of Duty community.

While Call of Duty does not normally partner with toothbrush companies, this seems like a rather unique exception. The BURST toothbrush is a Sonic toothbrush that costs around $99 for the exclusive camo pattern. The brush comes with a charcoal-infused brush and extra hygienic features that are likely to counter out the effect of Activision’s Dorito and Mountain Dew promotion on players’ teeth.

Players who want to go the extra distance can upgrade the initial purchase and claim an Ultimate Edition of this toothbrush. The Ultimate Edition comes in a special camo case along with dental floss, toothpaste, and a special exclusive BURST x C.O.D.E hat. Both of these products are planning to ship as of November 15th.

This is shortly after the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on November 13th. The game has already partnered with Doritos and Mountain Dew, making this the newest of their many collaborations. Players who participate in the Call of Duty Dorito and Mountain Dew promotion are eligible for double XP for a year through a special in-game raffle.
