Activision recently revealed a brand new look at Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War at Gamescom 2020, offering players a fresh look at footage from the upcoming shooter and confirming that it will feature multiple endings.

Given the astronomical success of Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has quickly become one of the year’s most eagerly-anticipated shooters. Although we already knew it would be appearing at Gamescom, today’s trailer still gave fans of the series a decent idea of what to expect when the game launches on November 13, 2020.

You can check out the brand new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War trailer for yourself below.

As mentioned during the Gamescom interview, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is a direct follow-up to Black Ops 1. It was also confirmed that iconic characters such as Woods and Mason would be returning, and that the choices you make during the main story will have a direct influence on the ending you get.

Although we didn’t get a look at any gameplay, we saw the game’s depiction of Ronald Reagan and learned about a mysterious figure known as Perseus.

It’s worth noting that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War recently sparked controversy when it was revealed that Activision had pulled a trailer from the internet after it was banned in China. The original trailer depicted a scene from the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, whereas the revised version cut that section out - as well as over half of the rest of the video.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launches for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 13, 2020.
