The stats, screenshots, files, and “other data” for the old Halo games, whether it was 2, 3, ODST, or Reach, were all saved at halo.bungie.net nearly a decade ago, but when that was discontinued nine years past, it was all archived. However, now, Bungie is opting to shut down the website, letting you gather your stats if you so choose with a deadline of February 9.

That being said, news articles, forums, and groups were already imported over to the new Bungie.net in 2013, so those will not be lost. It makes sense that Bungie would cut ties with the older site given that it has been stagnant for nine years now, but at least it’s giving you plenty of time to keep archives yourself if any of your data is on there.

Bungie revealed a large, sprawling infographic of stats for the aforementioned Halo games to mark the end of the website’s run, revealing that Halo 2 sported 36 billion kills, while Halo 3 toppled that with 76 billion.

In terms of hours, Halo 2, 3, Reach, and ODST were all played a grand total of two million hours. So, collectively, they could have sat down and watched the Doom movie 1.3 million times. Halo sounds more appealing, though.

As for screenshots, there were over 68 million saved to the platform, which Bungie stated is “Enough to circle the moon more than twice.” By contrast, there was a staggering 319 thousand groups made and 49 million forum posts, with four million threads.

Players also managed to earn 382 million Steaktacular medals which Bungie did the maths for. It turns out, players slaughtered around 490,167 cows to satiate their hunger for those steaks, and that’s in Halo 3 and ODST alone. Bungie has plenty of data, plenty of memories, and plenty of fun facts up for grabs right now, but come February 9, it will all be lost, so make sure to grab what’s valuable to you before that date closes in.
