Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford has released a new Borderlands 3 shift code that’s good for three Golden Keys. This new Borderlands 3 shift code expires on Monday, May 18 at 10:00am CT, so anyone interested in redeeming the code has a few days to do so.

The new Borderlands 3 shift code can be redeemed in one of three ways. One, players can redeem it in-game. Two, they can redeem it through the Gearbox Software website. And three, the new Borderlands 3 shift code can be redeemed through the official Borderlands website. Regardless of how players redeem the code, they will then get a message in their Borderlands 3 mailbox that has the three Golden Keys inside. Then it’s just a matter of going to the chest aboard Sanctuary III and claiming some free loot.

Here is the new Borderlands 3 shift code: CTKB3-3TTB3-ZTWH5-9T5JJ-3TSH9. Remember that it expires on Monday, May 18 at 10:00am CT, so it becomes useless from that point on. However, anyone that misses out on redeeming it shouldn’t worry too much. Gearbox Software releases new Borderlands 3 shift codes regularly, and it’s likely that a new one will be released next weekend as well.

In the meantime, some Borderlands 3 fans may be more anxious to learn about more substantial new content that could be on the way for the popular looter-shooter. As it stands, Gearbox has yet to reveal many details about Borderlands 3’s third DLC expansion, but it’s expected to launch at some point this summer. What exactly it will entail remains to be seen, but hopefully more information comes sooner rather than later.

Perhaps more details on Borderlands 3’s next DLC will come as part of the ongoing Summer Game Fest event. Borderlands 3 publisher 2K Games is part of the Summer Game Fest, so it is certainly a possibility. As it stands, the next Summer Game Fest events aren’t happening until June, though, so if the BL3 DLC reveal is part of it, fans shouldn’t expect to see anything on it until next month at the earliest.
